Why Jimena Evans chose Arabi

We have a passion for our city and love being hosts to this great city. This location is in one of the safest zip codes in the area. We couldn't think of a better place to invest our money. There's no denying the fact that we loved this place. It was truly home away from home, I didn't want to check out and go back to my actual home. GREAT NEIGHBORHOOD, PLENTY OF SHOPPING WITHIN A FEW MINUTES DRIVE AND ALSO PLACES RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD. I would without a doubt come back and rent this exact same house, my cousin loved it and obviously didn't want to leave because I asked him 3 times "DUDE, ARE YOU READY TO GO". Neighbors were great and just so happen to be an Alabama fan, which was a sigh of relief because it was Alabama LSU weekend and I was decked out in BAMA gear. Truly love it and enjoyed reading the previous entries in the Guestbook. I would recommend this location to anyone who wants to be close enough to all of the "primetime" locations but still want to distance themselves from the hustle and bustle of the French Quarters. The water that was left for us in the refrigerator was definitely "CLUTCH" and the kids say. I truly had a great weekend and can't wait to go back down there!!! A++++++++

Bon Secour, AL

Great location. Really nice house.

  • 5 of 5

I spend a fair amount of time in the area (fishing in Hopedale and dining/drinking in the city). This is the perfect location for me. Easy access to Hopedale/Delacroix. Quick trip to town.

The neighborhood is quite and safe. The Arabi Food Store is full of good eats. Had breakfast there and picked up some Poboys too. Typical Parish folk. Really nice people on the left side of the house. Old goat on the right. And 40 Arpent is just down the street (brewery/bar).

The house is very nice. Comfortable beds. Hot water. Nice front porch. Absolutely spotless.

I'll be back and have already recommended this house to friends.

Pictures don't do it justice!!

  • 5 of 5

This house was quite charming, truly the pictures do not do it justice. We enjoyed sitting on the beautiful porch watching our kids run around and play. House has a great floor plan. The neighborhood was very quiet and we enjoyed the different homes in the area, gave the neighborhood more character. The beds were super comfortable and spacious, we were very satisfied with our choice. Thank you for having us!
