Our three level log home is comfortable, quiet and newly updated. The main level features:
-a light and bright open two story family room with a large gas fireplace as a focal point and 55” curved TV
-a dining room with seating for 10
-a fully equipped, upgraded kitchen
-a main floor master suite that features a king size bed and a Jacuzzi tub and a walk in shower in the bathroom
-a powder room
-a laundry room
The second level features:
-two bedrooms each with a queen size bed and its own flat screen TV
-a bathroom with double sinks and a walk-in shower
-an open loft area with floor to ceiling windows
-a library of books to choose from
-a tech area to touch base electronically with the outside world
-internet and wi-fi
-beautiful views of the surrounding pines and majestic mountains
The spacious lower level has:
-a bedroom furnished with bunk beds that sleep 3
-a huge area for entertainment with a 65 inch flat screen TV with X-Box
-a gas pot belly stove
-abundant seating with two sleeper sofas, one queen and one twin
-an area for games and puzzles
Our log home has two decks:
-a farmer’s porch in front with comfortable seating to catch the morning sun, enjoy a cup of coffee or afternoon tea
-a back deck equipped with a gas grill and seating for relaxation and dining and watching for wild life: moose, deer, elk and fox.
Just minutes from the town of Grand Lake, activities in both the summer and winter are abundant.
In the summer enjoy:
-a hike starting at your front door or a leisurely walk around Columbine Lake. The head waters of the Colorado River can be reached by a trail that is just out the back door
-Grand Lake Golf Course is minutes away with a variety of other golf courses in the area
-fishing and boating on Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain Lake and -Lake Granby. (Sorry Columbine Lake is reserved for owners)
-Rocky Mountain National Park is literally a left turn on to Hwy. 34 as you leave Columbine Lakes
-Grand Lake’s “Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater” presents award winning musicals throughout the summer for the whole family to enjoy.
In the winter:
-the snowmobile is a mode of transportation in Grand Lake and Columbine Lakes is adjacent to 200 miles of snowmobile trails
-Grand Lake Golf Course becomes the Alpine Center with cross country skiing and snow shoeing
-Winterpark and Fraser are just 45 minutes away with skiing and tubing.
Step back in time as you walk down the wooden side walks in the town of Grand Lake where there are coffee spots, restaurants of every kind, a market, stores and ice cream shops. Grand “Spirit” Lake is just steps off the main street.
