Our Sweet Home
The house is an airy, light-filled, vintage 1935 Spanish Revival Beach Bungalow full of character. Throughout the home you will find high-barreled ceilings, white lath and plaster walls with mahogany trim accents, original hardwood floors and original tile. You’ll even find the original art deco doorbell.
The Living Room
When you step into our home you will first enter the living room, where you can relax next to the fireplace on a comfy leather sofa and chair, watch Direct TV, or if you need to work there is a hide-away desk with printer and Wi-Fi.
The Dining Room
The living room opens up to the dining room that has French doors that open to the side yard garden, featuring a pergola and water fountain, herb garden, and patio dining. In the dining room (seating for 6) you’ll also find vintage Long Beach photos and a beautiful art deco bar.
The Kitchen and Nook
From the dining room through a swinging door is the bright, light-filled vintage-styled kitchen. If you like charm, you’ll love the original yellow tile, fully-restored 1955 O’Keefe and Merritt stove and new vintage-styled fridge and dishwasher. The kitchen is fully stocked including new coffee maker and toaster. Through an archway is the breakfast nook with banquette and flat panel TV.
Bedrooms and Bath
Our house can accommodate up to 4 people. The master bedroom has art deco furniture, a CA king bed and windows that open to the backyard garden. The second bedroom has a day bed with trundle bed and Flat panel TV with Blu Ray player and speakers. It's set up for a perfect TV/movie watching room. The bathroom is all original 1935 with bright yellow tile and blue fixtures.
Patio and Garden
Along the side of the house you'll find a rose garden that leads to a quaint patio area. Relax on the deep-seated patio furniture that is surrounded by a flower garden, lemon tree and strung lights overhead. There is a built in DCS BBQ and fridge - perfect for summer nights.
Our house has 3 Flat panel TVs (living room, nook and second bedroom), Direct TV, Blu Ray player (Pandora), stereo with iPhone/pad hook-up, sound/speakers throughout house and backyard, Wi-Fi, and printer.
