The apartment is located in a quiet residential close, overlooking the Blackwall Basin and Canary Wharf. It is within easy reach of all of London's famous sights and shopping destination. It is easily accessible by public transport from all London airports and train terminals. If you are coming by car, there is a private, lockable garage available with the apartment. We provide all guests with personal, detailed instructions to find the apartment, depending on the direction from which they are arriving.
The apartment is up one flight of 14 stairs, no lift. Free WiFi internet is provided, as are all bed linens and towels, a welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk are provided in the kitchen as well as toiletries in the bathroom.
There is a spacious, light and airy living room with large windows on two sides providing wonderful 270 degree views across the water to Canary Wharf, with glazed doors opening onto west-facing balcony, comfortable leather sofa and chairs, dining table, TV with Freeview. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. There s plenty of china, glass and cutlery, saucepans and cooking equipment.
The bathroom has a bath tub with a shower overhead.
There are two bedrooms;
Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed, 1.5m wide (5'0") x 1.9m (6'3") long.
Bedroom 2 can be arranged as required, with either
a) one single bed 0.9m wide (3'0) x 1.9m (6'3") long, or
b) two single beds, 0.9m (3'0") wide x 1.9m (6'3") long and 0.75m (2'6") wide x 1.8m (6'0") long, or
c) put together to make one super king size bed 1.65m (5'6") wide x 1.9m (6'3") long max. However, access is only possible from one side of the bed.
There is a private, secure, lockable garage for one car, opposite front door. However, the garage is small, with a tight turning space, so may not be suitable for larger vehicles. Free, unallocated parkings spaces are usually available in the road nearby. The flat is outside the London Congestion Charge zone, so there are no parking costs.
Arriving and departing is very easy and flexible, and operates on a self-check-in system. The key will be in a key-safe, and shortly before your arrival you will be advised of the location and code for the key safe, so you can let yourselves in at any time after 16.00. On the day of departure we appreciate the apartment being vacated by 10.00, and the keys returned to the key safe.
The landlord does not live locally, but there is a book in the apartment containing maps, information on the apartment and local facilities, instructions for all appliances, code for WiFi, and other useful details.
