Oceanfront SandcastleToo is one of the best digs on the beach. Located in mid Avon, ST has two carports, under house entry, fish station, shower, and easy beach access. The first level has a furnished den with futon, TV/DVD, stereo, and 1/2 bath. On the 2nd floor, Oceanfront master 1 has a queen, LCD/TV/DVD, bath with tub/shower, and deck access to hot tub. The hall bath has a tub/shower and is close to laundry nook. Oceanfront master bedroom 2 has deck access, LCD/TV/DVD, and bath with tub/shower. Bedroom 3 has 2 singles and TV/DVD. Bedroom 4 has a captains bunk. The upstairs great room has a cathedral ceiling, half bath, entertainment center with large screen TV, DVD, stereo and comfy resort furnishings. The large all equipped kitchen has a breakfast island, oceanfront dining, and screened porch with picnic table. A furnished oceanfront sundeck catches every ray of the sun and every breaking wave on the beach. SANDCASTLE TOO needs you.

Great location for families!
We loved the house itself. It’s the closest house to the beach. Beach is quiet and clean. Great for families and your four legged friends. Kitchen was well stocked (except spoons), everything worked well. Loved the screened in porch with picnic table for dinners watching the sunset. Kid friendly unit but make sure you can climb stairs as it is a three story house. Carpets throughout. Great views from top story and large open floor plan.
The reason I don’t give this property five stars is more about the property manager than the house. The beds are not very comfortable (master squeaks, futon downstairs is not useable and the trundle in the bunk room is not useable). They sent out new beds but they weren’t too much better. The linen package is very low quality as well. The towels were the towels used at gyms for sweating. Not adequate for drying off after a shower. I also suggest having a few toilet paper rolls available to guests when they get in late at night. Hard to have to unpack everything to find toilet paper at midnight after a long drive.
House was lovely and well built. Recommend renting.

Spacious property, great location, ocean view.Many restaurants, seafood market, supermarket near by.
Well equipped rental, could use more forks, glasses, wine glasses. The linen package was expensive and sadly lacking with only one hand towel for two people, small, thin bath towels (one per person), and one kitchen towel. Budget motels provide better linens. No extra blankets. Good selection of puzzles and games which we used one windy, rainy day. Took a tour to see the wild horses in Corolla, stopped at Bodie lighthouse, Wright Brothers National Park. Also went to Hatteras lighthouse, took the ferry to Ocracoke. All very interesting and worthwhile excursions. Ate at several good restaurants, enjoyed local seafood. Didn't have a bad meal. We were pleased to find a property that allowed pets. Our Havanese liked being out on the deck. Very enjoyable week.
