This beach house is situated in the sunny desirable Alsace Lorraine neighborhood; as you head north the beach towns are oftentimes shrouded in fog. This private home is on the west-side of Hwy 1 and south of Highway 92, which avoids the traffic jams going north. Easy in, easy out, and walking distance to the best of everything. Sit on the deck and experience the ocean air, enjoy a short 3 block walk to either the best beaches in the bay area or quaint Half Moon Bay shops and restaurants. Walk the coastal trail south along the ocean to the Ritz-Carlton and treat yourself to a sparkling beverage or hop on a bike and head north to Pillar Point, home of the infamous Mavericks surf competition. Take your wet suit and hit the surf one block over to the State Park on Kelly Avenue. Bring your golf clubs and squeeze in several visits to the Ocean View Driving Range, also 3 blocks, equipped with putting greens and ample tees. The outdoor living space at the house includes a grass area groomed for croquet or badminton, surrounded by fig, apple and pear trees, fire pit, and gas BBQ.

Inside you will find a two-bedroom one-bath recently remodeled light and bright house with deck, fire-pit, and private yard. The bedrooms are furnished with one queen bed and two twin-sized beds, complete with hotel-quality white cotton sheets and down duvets. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas range, granite counter-tops and an expansive bar in one great room. Full bath with tub is new; outdoor shower is to be used to remove sand from flipflops and feet brought back from the beach. BBQ available for your fresh catch (off the boat or from Princeton Fish Market) and fire-pit (bring some kindling) for your deconstructed S'mores (we use a bowl and add bacon, peanut butter cups or bananas!). Bikes may be rented a short walk up Kelly Street at the local bike shop. Bring your walking shoes -- the scenery both north and south along the coast is rejuvenating and inspiring. We prefer the slightly cool overcast whether with light mist, but we've never had a bad day 3 blocks from ocean air. Bring your binoculars for the whales and dolphins (although they come close enough to see without them).The fall gray whale migration is one of the world's most magnificent and accessible wildlife spectacles.

This house is a professionally-cleaned, hygiene-oriented, allergen-free second home. Smoking is not allowed in the house or anywhere on the property. Pets, even if just visiting, are not allowed under any circumstances. We strive to create a setting that is comfortable, clean, organized and clutter-free for everyone to enjoy.

Guests beyond four (4) maximum registered are not permitted.

Half Moon Bay is a coastal community located approximately 35 minutes south of San Francisco that features the best of Northern California all in one place. Renowned restaurants, fresh local produce, family-friendly farms, quaint shops, historical buildings, golf courses, art galleries, beaches, world famous surfing, horseback riding on the beach, nearby wineries and redwood forests are in abundance all along a unique rocky shoreline.

Great location! Clean, cozy home perfect for the 3 of us!

We enjoyed our time in this home in Half Moon Bay, and appreciated the proximity to the beach and coastal trail (just a short 3-block walk to the end of the road). The beds were comfortable and we found everything very clean and homey. We especially loved the backyard, with the deck and patio furniture, all fenced in and very private.

Great house, exceptionally clean, good location to the beach.

The house was very cute, well decorated and had all the amenities in addition to incredibly comfortable beds. We really enjoyed the outdoor deck space with an umbrella, patio furniture and gas barbecue. Although we did not take advantage of it, we appreciated firewood being provided for an outdoor fire pit. It was a pleasure to stay in your lovely home, and we look forward to returning in the near future!

Great Property in Half Moon Bay

Perfect place to stay if visiting Half Moon Bay. Location couldn’t be better. Only three blocks to the beach and six blocks to downtown. Home is quite comfortable. Modern and nicely furnished. We especially enjoyed the rule of no smoking and no pets. Allie is very helpful and responds quickly to any questions or requests.

Great location. Impeccably clean. Cozy living room. Comfortable beds. Nicely decorated. The kitchen has everything one could need. Nice deck and backyard. Everything in the house was well-maintained and functioning. Communication with Allie was easy and quick. Our stay could not have been better!

Bright clean beach house

We enjoyed our stay at the beach house in Half Moon Bay. Clean, bright, all the amenities. Easy communications with the owner. Quiet street, easy walk to bluffs above beach and easy paths down to beach. House is freshly remodeled and has a huge well kept back yard. Hope to stay again some day! Thanks!
