Fabulous Location, extremely fantastic Host, and would stay again!
My sister and I took my mom for a vacation to DC, she's always wanted to go. We found Susanna's place and loved it. Upon arrival, it was so quaint, clean, and the proximity to everything was probably the best part. We loved coming home to a fireplace on a rainy day after walking miles to the museums at the National Mall. There is shopping just a couple of blocks away (Whole Foods & CVS), and Susanna our host, was only a text away if we needed anything. She is extremely responsive, kind and helpful, and an absolute pleasure to have host our family. I highly recommend her place if you're looking for 1) Great Proximity to everything, 2) Clean and Cozy atmosphere, and 3) Excellent and responsive Host! We would love to rent her place again if we're ever in the D.C. Area again!
Beautiful apt on Capital Hill
Property was located within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, parks and the bars on Barrick Row. Plenty of space with lots of clean towels and all the essentials needed to enjoy a few days in DC. Thank you Susanna for the wonderful space and we look forward to coming back to this beautiful city.
They say location is everything, and this property is everything. Besides being a block away from the metro, a number of restaurants, markets, and even the National Mall, this unite is roomy, clean, comfortable, and provides everything you'll need. Susanna was great, answered any questions we had, and checked in on us frequently asking if we needed anything or had any questions. I would definitely stay here again.
Loved this rental! This was our first trip to DC and the location could not have been better! We didn't have a car, but this was an easy walk to the metro, grocery store, and even the national mall. We took the metro from the airport to the unit. The apartment is comfortable and nice. We had 2 adults and 4 teen kids. There was plenty of room for sleeping and eating, and the one bathroom is large. Only wish was there was more comfortable seating for 6 in the family room... there is a couch and a plush chair. 2 people had to use the kitchen chairs while relaxing at night.
The owner was fabulous, very responsive and attentive to any needs. We would definitely stay here again.
great location, wonderful home
We couldn't have asked for a nicer property to stay at in the Washington DC area. Its location on Capitol Hill is a real plus as it has a metro stop within a short walk from the property which allows easy access to the greater DC area. The owners are very accommodating, friendly and quick to address any questions or concerns. My only quibble with the location is that it is a bit of a distance to a grocery store, if you're traveling without a vehicle, but it is a short Uber ride and should not discourage taking advantage of this very well maintained property. We would stay here again without a second thought. We loved this property!
We recently returned from a week's vacation in Washington, DC, and we had a great experience with this property. The apartment was very clean, and Susanna was wonderful - she checked in with us every day and responded immediately if we had any questions. The best part of the property was the location - we were able to walk to many attractions (Capitol, Supreme Court, Air and Space Museum, etc) and Uber to anywhere else we wanted to go. There are several restaurants in the area and a cute independent bookstore about a 10 minute walk away. There is a market about 3 blocks away, but it's very small and pricey, so we took an Uber to the nearest Safeway and stocked up on groceries there. Overall, it was an excellent stay - we'll definitely stay there again if we ever return to DC!
