Newly Renovated Villa with Wifi, Flatscreen TV's, Beach Gear

Fiddlers Cove Beach & Racquet Club is a 23 acre resort , just a 5 minute shaded walk (or 2 minute bike ride) to Folly Field Beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches on Hilton Head Island. Resort includes two pools, Jacuzzi tub, several play areas for kids, indoor racquetball courts, ping pong, Clay tennis courts and bike rental delivery. Bike racks throughout resort.

Just finished our first summer rental season and we are looking forward to 2017. I've listened to renter comments and continue to make this one of the best units folks can rent at Fiddler's Cove. A new bed and box spring are in the second bedroom. New living room tables, carpet remnants and drapes. We've also added new dining room chairs, a few new items in the kitchen including a new set of non-stick pots & pans, utensils, cutlery and small appliances. New bed quilts, cellular shades and items for the beach. Unit has two full baths, a large flat screen TV in living room and washer and dryer. WiFi, Cable TV & Internet. A past renter had concerns about a crack in the front door frame so we've installed a new door, frame and locks which makes our unit secure and easy to access. No keys required. Folly Field Beach has public bathrooms, out door showers, and a boardwalk..

We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do on HIlton Head Island!

Fiddler's Cove is a beautiful complex in a very upscale neighborhood of surrounding homes.

Port Royal, where I played several rounds of golf, is only five minutes away....

Situated perfectly on the Island and an easy drive to everything.

Folly Field beach is the best on the island and within easy walking distance.

We was looking for something kid friendly, quite and close to the beach. This provided all of that perfectly. Attractions and shopping was a short drive away. The unit was clean furnished with essential plus added sand mats and boogie boards. This was perfect I'd definitely stay here if or when we came back.

It was not all it was written up to be in the reviews.

The bedroom upgrades consisted of new linens and blinds - bedding was not at all comfortable.

Too much clutter in the closets, old lamp shades, pictures, etc. - should me mt.

Main door in, lock assembly was falling off the door, door frame was split where someone had forced entry at some point - reported to owner and she thought we had broken and called security.

Toilet handle needs to be "jiggled" to stop water from running.

Windows and deck are filthy. Dust streaks across ceiling where forced hot /cold air is blown into living areas - somebody hasn't been cleaning the filter. Carpet stinks. I could go on.

Owner is unresponsive to complaints.

Quiet, good location to walk to beach and access to restaurants.

Owner's Response: This review has been both disturbing and concerning to me that I need to clearly tell the real story here. Guest e-mailed me stating the door handle was falling off and it looked like the unit had been broken into. I was certainly alarmed and called security to help Mr H. The guard was told exactly what he told me. The guard told him his door and lock were secure. I have since spoke with the condo folks, and even though the door was secure, I convinced them to replace it-so there are no further concerns. While on the phone with Mr H., he asked where the twin beds in the guest room were and why the kitchen wasn't updated? My pictures show exactly how my condo looks. He did admit he was thinking of another unit he had seen. So, renters, if you are unit shopping, please double check the pictures before you book. I do believe Mr.H.'s girlfriend booked a different unit than the one he expected, and wanted an excuse to get out of his agreement. The next e-mail from Mr H. said he was uncomfortable in the guest room. I told him I had never received a complaint before, but realized the bed was outdated and was replacing it after he left. He asked if I could have it sent to the unit while he was there, and I told him that was a bad idea, as he was on vacation and I didn't want to disturb him- but he insisted it would be no trouble. To go the extra mile for him, I had the bed sent early to my maintenance man for delivery. In the meantime, Mr. H. e-mailed me stating he had changed his mind, he had gotten used to the bed and was sleeping well and I didn't need to contact him further. Needless to say-I won't do that again! I heard nothing else from Mr. H. until he sent me his review the day before he left, stating the carpet smelled (which has since been shampooed) and the furnace was dirty. I immediately had my Heating and A/C guy come out and he said my furnace is 3 years old and had been serviced appropriately. There was nothing else to be done. To say I am unresponsive to my guests is completely inaccurate-as I have shown. This is also my part-time home, and I do take pride in it. But to post these types of lies makes me wonder whether I should continue to pour $ and my heart into this when I am raked through the coals by a guest like this.

We enjoyed Hilton Head and Fiddlers Cove in particular. All the activities were easy to access, people were friendly and the area is quiet and peaceful. The condo provides all you need to enjoy your stay and the owners upgrades were very comfortable. We plan to return next year. Thank you to Susan for sharing her condo!

New comedy show on the island is great. Also, spas, Tangier outlet,
