The property facilities were very good, and the views breathtaking over the sea .
The property was very clean and had every convenience., with a lovely view across the water from the lounge and bedroom.
The property is located on the corner of an estate which is generally quiet. At the time we stayed there were builders renovating the roofs of properties surrounding us, also a trampoline in the neighbouring garden did create some noise at times which affected the tranquility of the setting.
We did have a"blip" with access instructions as these were only sent out the day before via the Home and Away website to our home e mail address,, which we could not access as we were travelling. It may be worth considering contacting the customers a week or so beforehand, as we arrived and could not gain access. We assumed that the agent would be on site with keys as we were not aware of any communication. We tried to phone the Home and Away office about access the afternoon we arrived, but it was closed late afternoon.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it - The owners were very friendly and helpful. Good property and great location
Lovely cottage with a wonderful view. With we'd have had more time to spend here.
Beautiful property in a beautiful location.
Could have spent a whole lot longer here, just ran out of time. Plenty to see and to come home to a clean and comfortable home was just perfect. Thank you Claire and Ian.
Gorgeous place to explore the area from
Great place exactly as described. Lovely and clean with beautiful views over loch long
The front glazed porch is a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by on the Firth of Clyde. There was lots to explore with the dogs and we had the best of the weather. A fabulous short break.
Short spring brake.
Enjoyed our stay at Admirals View. Very comfortable property, it felt like home from home. Sunning sea views while sitting in a extremely comfortable living room or porch area. The bedrooms are very nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. We took our dog Molly with us and she loved walking and sniffing around a very spacious garden.
It was lovely walking along the beach of a evening and coming back to a nice glass of wine and watching the boats and submarines pass by.
Kitchen very well equipped. Can’t find anything not to love.
Thanks Claire and Ian.
