About Beverley Morgan
I am married to Peter and we moved here together in 2015 and got married in the village church - St Leonards at the end of 2016. I am originally from Coventry and Peter is from Birmingham. Peter also lived in Spain for a number of years and speaks Spanish. We have 4 grown up children between us. Peter has a roofing company and I work from home as an examiner for OCR Exam Board after years of teaching ICT in a collge in Coventry. We like to travel going to different places neither of us have been before when we can. Peter enjoys fishing and is an avid Aston Villa supporter.
Beverley Morgan purchased this House in 2015
Why Beverley Morgan chose Bretforton
We had been looking for a house for a while and were origninally planning to live in Stratford upon Avon, but I found this property on line and when we came to see it, despite the work that needed doing, we both fell in love with it and the lovely village. Peter knew the area well from his work as a roofer and also from many years fishing with his father and again after he returned from Spain.
What makes this House unique
The benefits of living in Bretforton are the beautiful surroundings, not only this village but also further into the Cotswolds. Places like Chipping Camden, Moreton in Marsh and Broadway. Bretforton was recently nominated on Channel 4 TV series 'Village of the Year' and got as far as the quarter finals.. We are on the edge of 3 counties; Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire which makes it a quick drive to go to places such as Stratford upon Avon, Cheltenham (races), Leamington Spa, Birmingham and Bristol is just an hour. The local historic Fleece Inn is 50 metres away from the property where there are many events such as the Asparagus Festival and music events and is also a popular wedding venu. The local Bretforton band which have been playing since 1895 are regularly playing in the grounds of the Fleece Inn and other local venues and are fabulous.

Lovely home in a charming village, lots of space, very comfy beds, and an amazing large bath room
Beverly and her husband did an amazing job renovating this former post office into an lovely home. The ground floor has a huge kitchen with dining area, dish washer and washing machine. The living room is cozy with a fireplace, next to a quiet study.
Upstairs is a huge bathroom with a large modern shower, and a cool, free-standing lion-footed bath tub.
The three bedrooms have comfy beds with soft sheets perfect for a good night's sleep. The master bedroom even has it's own smaller bathroom.
We would have loved to spend more nights there!
Fantastic house, lovely village
We loved staying in the Old Post Office. The interior is lovely and spacious, and our kids enjoyed the open plan downstairs - plenty of space for games. Beverley was very welcoming and provided lots of nice touches. We will deffinately stay again.
Thank you so much for the lovely review. Really pleased you all enjoyed your stay.
Would definitely recommend!
A really lovely place for a university reunion, great little touches like tea, coffee, shower gel etc-a beautiful place!
Re-union with brother and sister plus partners
We had a most enjoyable stay in this charming ex-post office which had been recently modernised and extended.
The beds were all very comfortable with lovely furnished downstairs lounge and TV room so to speak.
All items provided even for the log burner -logs ,firelighters and kindling wood.
Also some breakfast items-cereals and snack bars.Coffee and tea also.
There was ample space for the 6 of us and plenty to see in the village with a great deal of character (old pub within a very short stroll and an old church).
A cosy and comfortable stay was enjoyed by all.
