About Sheryl Mauro

My husband and I grew up and lived most of our lives in Tennessee. At this time, we live in West Tennessee and are nearing retirement. With both of our busy careers, its not easy to find time to spend together so we decided to find our special place now so that we can enjoy it and each other for many more years to come!

Sheryl Mauro purchased this cabin in 2016

Why Sheryl Mauro chose Sevierville

We have lived in Tennessee our entire lives in Middle and West Tennessee. My husband and I love the mountains, love riding motorcycles, and have always dreamed of retiring in the Smokies. Finally, we have our dream second home and look forward to sharing it with you.

What makes this cabin unique

When we came to find our dream vacation home, we almost missed this gem. There were lots of cabins with lovely views, but not to this extent. This was our last stop before heading home. Once we saw the wraparound porch and the incredible view of the Smoky Mountains, we were sold. It was even better to see that this cabin had been well-loved by its previous owners. We've made a few changes and upgraded a few things. We know you'll appreciate the love and attention to detail we've put into making this cabin our own.

From this location on Bluff Mountain, its an easy drive to the parkway in Pigeon Forge and all the attractions of the area. In the other direction, you'll find charming Wears Valley with its quaint shops and restaurants. The entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only 17 miles away, so there are plenty of choices for dining, fun activities, sightseeing, hiking and enjoying the outdoors, or simply curling up on the comfy couch and enjoying a good movie, a cup of coffee and the cozy views right outside your windows.

Notes:
We offer a concierge service. We'll be happy to shop for you or make you dinner or dessert! Being a chef/restaurant owner in my former life, I am very particular about what I prepare, using only the freshest ingredients possible. I carry on that theme when shopping for you. You will be pleased with the quality of your groceries. Imagine arriving at the cabin with your groceries waiting for you, put up and in the fridge! You may also order frozen entrees that you may bake yourself or fresh entrees, made to your liking. A nice, homecooked meal that you may enjoy whenever you like!

Large porch, view, hot tub are awesome. Cabin iinside is beautiful with all needed amenities.

  • 5 of 5

Cozy View Cabin met and exceeded our expectations. The cabin was perfect for our family of five (four of us over 18). We had room to spread out if we needed to. The boys all loved the pool table and we had several family pool tournaments. We were close (within 20–45 minutes) of our favorite attractions here—Cade’s Cove, Newfound Gap//Smoky mountains, whitewater rafting, dinner shows as well as Pigeon Forge. We had a couple rainy days and had no problems going to the mall in town for a few hours and plenty of family time at cabin, watching movies, playing board games, relaxing/reading on porch—enjoying hot tub. We used the concierge service and ordered a few meals in advance. It was so nice to arrive and have homemade food ready to bake in the fridge/freezer. The pie was delicious too! We grilled out (bring some charcoal) and had all the dishes, supplies, utensils that were needed to make our own meals. All the appliances worked great too. We loved having two full bathrooms for getting ready and having access to a washer/dryer. The cabin was clean and fresh upon arrival. The drive up to the cabin to get the great views was steep but was fine after we did it a few times. Overall the driveway was decent compared to others that we saw. We felt immersed in nature at cabin which was wonderful! The sounds of nature could be heard every night. We spent lots of mornings and evenings on porch in rockers, swing, hot tub. All TVs worked great and there is WiFi (important to my teenagers). Beds were comfortable. Cabin is beautifully decorated...felt really homey and comfortable. Our only suggestion would be for the owners to trim some tree tops as they are starting to impede view towards center of porch. We had a fabulous, relaxing and fun time and would definitely recommend this place to others!!

We had an amazing time and the cabin was very quiet and secluded. Cades Cove and Clingman Dome are a must to go to.

Cozy Cabin with Spectacular View

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed in the Cozy Cabin for a week. It had everything we needed - a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of clean towels, space for the family to spread out and play games or watch movies (all provided) or even dip in the hot tub. But our favorite feature was the wrap around deck and it's spectacular view. The view is what sold us on this particular cabin and we wouldn’t have traded it for anything! We ate breakfast every morning on the porch swing or the rockers while we watched the mountain mist dissipate each morning as the sun rose. We now understand why these are called the “Smoky Mountains.” What a gem!

Beautiful view from this charming cabin

  • 5 of 5

Well equipped cabin with porch views that went on for miles. A little challenging to get there with the steep roads so be careful if renting in the winter. We enjoyed the convenience of its location just a 15 minute ride to the main attractions but very secluded so you felt a million miles away from everything.

Close to Heaven!

  • 4 of 5

A scenic location! Saw two rainbows in the valley, one of those times was a double rainbow! Fire flies, crickets and an owl settling in for the night was seen and heard. We saw a mama bear crossing the road while we were traveling up the mountain. Adorable bear motif throughout cabin and true to its name, a very "Cozy" cabin! All the amenities we needed, just like being at home, and at home I have everything! Looking forward to returning!
