Located directly on the beach, The Blue Terrazz Unit A is a monthly rental, a large four-bedroom, four-bath apartment that sleeps six comfortably. It is a licensed rental for the Town of Sullivan's Island.

Your next vacation home is part of a three-unit beach house on Sullivan’s Island located at the north end of the island, close to Breach Inlet. The large deck faces the ocean; the living room wall of glass provides the same view with the beach at the edge of your deck.

Enjoy your evening glass of wine in comfortable cushioned chairs that face the ocean. Sleep comfortably listening to the sound of the waves on the shore. The beach is directly off the deck staircase with sand ready for your toes. The deck is perfect for those spectacular sunrises and your morning coffee as you watch the dolphins slide soundlessly through the water. The beach offers an historic gun turret buried partially in the sand, something interesting for the adults and a playground for children. A hammock hangs under the deck, waiting for your next nap in the shade.

Entering your vacation home from the large southern porch with rocking chairs, Unit A has a large living and dining area on the main floor with a stacked rock fireplace and comfortable, beach friendly furniture. A 60-inch smart television hangs over the fireplace. High speed wireless internet is available along with Comcast television access with movie channels. A Vonage telephone line is included for free calls throughout the United States.

The dining table seats six comfortably. With a fully furnished kitchen and double pantry, modern stainless appliances, wine cooler and Italian Bertazzoni stove, this apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay on the beach. Whether you cook or decide to visit our local restaurants, we supply everything (except your food), even the Keurig coffee pods for that first cup of the day. A twin bedroom and full bath with ladies soaking tub and modern tub filler is also on the main floor for your guests or that private time for mom away from the kids.

Upstairs, your large laundry room is off the Master Bedroom and comes with full-sized washer and dryer with multiple selections. All linens are provided, including sheets, pillows, bath towels and beach towels. The master bedroom has a king bed with a 55-inch television and hardwood patterned luxury vinyl tile. The two large guest bedrooms with dormers and window seats are on either end of the upper level. Both guest rooms are carpeted. One guest room holds a double bed, desk and bookcase. The other guest room is similar, with a double bed and trundle, desk and bookcase. Each bedroom upstairs has a private bath en-suite, each with a tiled shower and pedestal sinks.

We provide a small selection of beach toys, several beach chairs and umbrellas. Unit A comes with a two-car end-to-end parking garage underneath the unit. Two additional off-street parking spaces is allotted for this unit. There is ample storage underneath the home for your bicycles or golf cart (or both!).

The Town of Sullivan’s Island requires that Unit A must be rented for a minimum of twenty-eight (28) days, but there is no maximum. Unit A can be rented for a month or a year, should you never wish to leave. Please note that the total guests visiting for the day cannot exceed eight as this is one of our smaller units and the Town closely regulates all rental apartments and the number of occupants. All guests and automobiles must be registered with our property manager. The apartment is part of a three-unit home and is properly licensed with the Town of Sullivan’s Island.

A family friendly piece of heaven, Sullivan's Island does not allow alcohol or parties on the beach and no fireworks. If you must travel with your pet, he or she must be registered with the Town to walk on the beach (for a fee), and boarded off site. We will be happy to provide you a list of local boarding facilities should you need. With multiple units, we have quiet hours that begin at 10:00 p.m.

About Reta S. Hampton

We purchased this home in the spring of 2013 and began renovations immediately. By October 31, 2013, the house and landscaping was completed. We lived in Unit A for three years until we built our new home.

We wanted to be as close to the beach as possible without actually living on a boat! It is wonderful to wake up each morning and see the waves crashing on the beach just outside my living room windows.

What makes this apartment unique

This property is one of the few beach houses on Sullivan's Island that is directly on the beach. We have a large beach in front of the home, and living here is quiet, calm and relaxing.

Only registered guests may stay overnight unless written permission received from the Owner.
