Our ouse is near the centre of Bromley, which is in the south east of London, at the north east corner of Kent. Bromley is famous for being the birthplace of HG Wells and more recently for being the place where David Bowie grew up.
Our cottage dates from the 1860's, and retains a lot of character from that era, although it has all modern conveniences, like central heating, electric shower, modern kitchen, etc.
The street is very quiet, as it's a no through road, so very little vehicular traffic goes by, allowing a truly restful night sleep. We also have a patio and back garden, so you can enjoy sitting and having a drink in the garden (when the weather allows it!).
Bromley is very well connected with London through its two stations, Bromley North, which serves the City through its connection with London Bridge and Cannon Street, and Bromley South, which has a fast connection to Victoria with direct trains taking only about 17 minutes.
Bromley is also famous for it's shopping centre, and has lots of restaurants and pubs to satisfy any taste.
