Everything you need and great location!
We loved being so convenient to Sullivan's Island and Charleston but honestly could have spent the whole vacation bike riding the beautiful streets of Mount Pleasant! The house was spacious and clean. Looking forward to coming back next year!
Off the Grid is Good!
Our 2018 New Year's five-day stay at this Pirates Cove house was nice as could be! We wanted a quiet getaway after a busy period of Christmas travel and family visitations. We found that the house has a very pleasant "feel" due to Kimberly's artful furnishings and thoughtful preparedness for guests. This time there was a surprise for us! We happened to be there for one of the heaviest snowfalls on record for the Charleston area. We had enjoyed great restaurants and a couple of wonderful grocery stores --and a warm wintertime house. Then the day before departure, we marveled as 5.5 inches of beautiful snowflakes fell. We two "elderlies," my husband and I, were fine during the unexpected soft snow storm. We even enjoyed watching logs burning in the fireplace as we kept up with TV weather reports and news. I am sure that Kimberly had plenty on her mind to take care of during this serious weather event, so unusual for the area, yet she showed genuine concern for us and our well being. We recommend this quiet and peaceful niche, anytime of the year!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It is very clean, comfortable, and convenient to where we needed to go. We will definitely consider being repeat guests.
Great place to stay in the Charleston/Beach area!
My nephew was getting married in Charleston and my sister, his mother, and I needed a place to stay for an extended period along with her two small poodles. There were parties in the surrounding areas of Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms, and Awendah; my sister needed to pick up family members flying in for the wedding at various arrival times; the rehearsal and wedding were in Charleston; and a brunch was held at the bride's home in Mt. Pleasant. I searched VRBO.com and found this charming home that was perfectly located for all of our activities and provided the accommodations we needed. From the moment we walked into the home, we knew that the owner had taken great care to ensure our satisfaction with her livable and spacious home. The house was spotless and everything was well-organized and labeled. We felt as if we were in one of the $450+/night rooms in downtown Charleston, except that we had a wonderful backyard for the little guys and a very safe neighborhood for walking. Our other sister was staying at the Isle of Palms, so it was easy to meet her on nearby Sullivan's Island for a casual supper. I knew I could find something on VRBO.com that would meet all of the criteria we needed for our trip and I can highly recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to the Charleston, South Carolina, area!
Lovely, comfortable home with easy access to Charleston
This beautiful home was everything we needed for a 5 day trip to the Charleston area. Our thanks to Kimberly for making this happen.
This home in a nice little neighborhood was in easy walking distance of the historical area of Mt. Pleasant and a quick drive from downtown Charleston, Sullivan Island, plantations, and other areas of interest. It is nice to have all the ammenities of home while on vacation rather than having to live out of a suitcase in a hotel. We had a wonderful stay! Thank you!
