DO NOT EVER STAY IN THIS APARTMENT
We have stayed in many apartments all over Europe and have never experienced one so misrepresented as this apartment. True Borgo Albizi is close to the Duomo but nothing else! It is not newly remodeled as stated. Listed in the description as having air conditioning is not correct. There is NO air conditioning only ineffective fans in each room. The apartment is too small to possibly sleep 7 people as stated. There is an elevator but 16 treacherous stairs into the apartment with no hand rail. The apartment was dirty, the sofa stained and 1 of the 4 chairs at the dining table was broken. There were 2 rolls of toilet paper provided for 4 adults for a week. Opening the windows was not possible because the apartment became over run with mosquitoes. When we expressed our dismay with the misrepresentation of the apartment the apartment staff told us there was no place they could relocate us because it was high season and they admitted that yes there was no air conditioning but they had not bothered to change the description on the Vrbo listing. On our own we were able to find a lovely, large, 3 bedroom apartment in a good location for about the same amount and left Borgo Albizi. If it was possible to give this apartment a negative rating i would. It is a dangerous place for children and older people. Stay away. I am sure the photos were taken with a wide angle lens and air brushed before printing!
