This 400-square-foot studio with patio in a second-floor, pre-war walkup sleeps two in a comfy, new, queen-sized mattress with pure cotton sheets. A convertible sofa will accommodate a third person in comfort.
This apartment is not for people who want to make noise. The neighbors downstairs have an infant daughter who needs to be able to nap.
The apartment offers a respite from the hubbub that is located a few steps from the building's front door. A few blocks north, you will find KoreaTown's multitude of restaurants, the Morgan Library's architectural and literary gems, the Empire State Building's majestic presence and remnants of what used to be known as Ladies' Mile on 5th Avenue. A few blocks south you will find Madison Square Park and the Flatiron Building.
Note that the construction noise cited in some of the reviews has abated now that the exterior of the building is complete.
