A great property spotless would recommend cheers
Comfortable and convenient
Good base to explore the area. Thoughtful extras available such as walking books and maps and we were provided with a high chair and cot. Very helpful owner.
Excellent in every way!
Very clean and well equipped with off road parking in quiet cull de sac close to Aviemore centre. A perfect choice!
Great Holiday Home
We had a fabulous stay at this property. It was very comfortable and spotless. It is located in a quiet residential area, close to all amenities and within a 10 minute walk from the centre of Aviemore. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. We wpuld stay again.
A lovely cottage in a very quiet area of Aviemore.
Lovely property well maintained.
Lovely, cozy home away from home in Aviemore (an area we love)
A very well kept cottage, clean, comfortable warm and pretty, with everything we needed. Excellent communication from booking to payment to cottage access information. The welcome basket was a really nice touch. Enjoyed using the log burner in the evening. The beds were very comfortable. We have stayed in this particular area before so we knew it would be quiet and only short walks away from the various village amenities. Plenty of places to choose from for shopping, going for a drink, eating out or take-aways. A favourite of ours is The Cairngorm Hotel (lots of local gins and malt whiskies to try, and good food). The cottage is also very well-placed for cycle and walking paths, can recommend the Speyside Way route to Boat of Garten, also the nearby Rothiemurchus Estate for the fishery and lots of walking/cycling routes amongst other activities (and the fantastic home-baking and shop at the Rothiemurchus Centre!) Our weather was mixed, starting with some warm(ish) sunshine, then heavy snow, then heavy rain, then sunshine again to finish off, even managed to sit out in the back garden in warm sunshine when it had been white with snow the day before! Lots of places to drive to in the surrounding area, this time we visited Brodie Castle and The Macallan Distillery. And we always pay a visit to the mountain, such a shame the funicular railway is out of action but it didn't put us off. We had a lovely, relaxing and re-energising few days. Thanks again to William and Rita for the use of their great wee house.
We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and are very grateful for your kind comments about the cottage. The information about places you visited etc will be helpful to others who might not know Aviemore and the surrounding area so well. We will be delighted to welcome you back in the future
