Cosy and comfortable
Central for touring and Portpatrick itself. Nice quiet and friendly location . Bill could not have been more helpful and friendly.
It's great to get good feed backs from my guested that stay at Sawmill Cottage at Portpatrick. With the village and harbour so close 10 mins walk. Their is a local taxi so you can have a wee drink with no worry's about driving home. It's so good to have nice friendly guested.
So very relaxed
We wanted somewhere quiet but close to places of interest. Saw Mill Cottage was perfect for this. Bill very welcoming and helpful. The Squirrels and Pheasant added to the pleasure. Would recommend.
Out every Day,, somewhere different each day. Sunshine All the way. Great,,Blue Sky,,Blue Sea,,Red Squirrels,, Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers.
The Old Master Cock Pheasant, ,,,,waiting to feed his Lady's every day and for him to be fed by the guest. And of course have his Photo taken, and being fed him self. The garden full of wildlife, and away for a wee walk down the Glen to the Sea.... Back in time for a wee Pot of Tea in the garden.
Then away down the Village in time for Dinner.
Perfect for a quiet self catering break.
The cottage is in a private location, with abundant wildlife in the garden and surrounding woods for those who would be interested. The house itself is cosy and more than adequate for two people.
The main source of heat is the wood burning stove which generates a good warm atmosphere. This is supplemented by some central heating and electrical heating.
There is abundant hot water, cooking hob, small oven, television, fridge, washing machine, wi fi and electric shower.
Thank you very much Mr Mrs Hirst for your very kind review, hope maybe one day to see you again.
