Wonderful home so close to the waves
Perfect SGI Vacation
A Bit of Paradise is the stereotypical SGI house. It is well furnished, secluded and in the perfect location. The house is a little smaller than many on the beach, but it is a perfectly comfortable fit for our group of 8. Beach chairs, umbrellas and towels being provided was a great perk relieving us from packing all that extra stuff. The porches and the furniture on them are great. We could have spent our whole week just enjoying them. The rental company was thoughtful and great at communication. Overall, this was one of our best vacation rental experiences ever.
We had a great time! Being so close to the beach and the view upstairs is amazing! It was like having our own private beach. Just to warn you there are. LOT of stairs so unpacking and packing takes a little longer. Other than that it was great.
The accommodations were very comfortable and the views were incredible. The kitchen had everything we needed. We love the sound of the ocean and fresh air but were unable to fully enjoy due to lack of screens and patio doors that didn’t function. There was no hot water in the outside shower and the water softener has been disconnected.
The plantation is very nice and the location of the house was beautiful!!!
The property was very clean and nice. Inside the house was beautiful as described on website . I would say the only negative thing about the property is the outside of the house is pretty worn and run down , stairs were pretty sketchy as well. The deck needs to be redone or resurfaced for sure. But overall the property was stunning and the beach was perfect. I would recommend this property for sure.
The setting for this property can not be beat. Right on the beach and it is dog friendly as well.
The property was nice, a bit worn in places, but very nice. Well provisioned with all the things you need to make it a home away from home. You do need to be ready for some stairs, but that is the norm for St George Island homes. This one has a long set of stairs up to the main entrance.
They had a problem with the air conditioning when we were arriving, but it was taken care of in a day.
Overall we would recommend the property and we always recommend St George Island.
