1 bed 1 bath recently renovated bungalow. Queen bed and Sleeper Sofa, dining table for 4, full kitchen with everything you need including herbs, olive oil etc. We ask that guests replace what they use or leave a note as to what is running low. This is SUPER well kept, and we only want guests that appreciate the finer details.
You have a front and back door, laundry room, driveway and street parking, recycling and trash, shower and tub.
I live just a few blocks away. I love to give restaurant, bar, & entertainment input, and prefer to meet our guests personally. Keys will be left for you if we aren't able to greet you personally. WELCOME!
Montrose is like Austin. You can bike, walk, ride, and see Houston in all its different iterations. Artists, professionals, yuppies and hippies all mixed in together. Some of Montrose still has its shady side, but LUCKY YOU our street has virtually none of those problems. I never locked my car when I parked here, because the only traffic down this street is people I know live here. Its a real gem.
There ARE buses, but no one does that here. Cabs are cheap, and we now have UBER.
Coffee Shop literally 100 yards away. Food Truck too. You can park on the street or in the driveway. If you have a pet, just ask and we can probably make arrangements (the wood floors are pretty nice so thats an issue).
You have access to a wonderful neighborhood on a quiet street. Montrose has a walkability rating of 79% and a biking rating of 78%. Access to 40+ restaurants within walking distance, Metro bus stop, and the Buffalo Bayou just blocks away.
Interaction with Guests
I interact mainly via text and email. I will not bother you during your stay, and we may not meet at all unless you need something. I am blocks away, and will be around the property making sure the maintenance is kept up. But I won't be bugging ya'll.
Montrose is the most walkable neighborhood in Houston. Its young, diverse, hip, and close to everything you need (medical center, downtown, parks, restaurants, and I-10 and HWY 59 (I-69). This is the center of Houston, and the cultural epicenter.
Yes. Montrose is super walkable, but I also offer the convenience of off street parking in my driveway. We also recommend ūber.
Other Things to Note
This house was build in the 1920's, so with its character and charm comes quaintness and the qualities that come with all old homes.
