Charming 1890's Victorian home with modern amenities yet vintage decor provides an antique feel with the comforts of today. The 7 room main floor provides a private apartment with two bedrooms, full kitchen, full dining room, traditional sitting room, and two bathrooms. The bathrooms are fully remodeled yet retain the claw foot tub with shower to preserve the feel of the home. The kitchen has new granite counters with the porcelain farm sink original to the house.

The furnishings are original period antique through mid century with a few modern electronic devices mixed in. Also a well stocked game cabinet with various puzzles and games for entertaining.

Off street parking is provided and there is a property rep available within minutes.

                                                          Cozy Victorian in a quiet neighborhood

                                                          A nice Victorian with a brewery and good coffee across the street. The apartment was a little rough around the edges and a bit drafty but that is to be expected from an old Victorian, however there was plenty of heat to keep it warm this chilly New Years. Overall the place suited our needs, including a five year old, and we had a nice stay. We even had a fire at night in the fire pit.

                                                          We had a great stay!! We had to book at the last minute and Stan was very accommodating. The apartment was spacious and clean. The location was right next to the beautiful Regis University and just down the street from great restaurants, bars and shops. I will definitely stay here again when I venture back to Denver.

                                                          Took our daughter to Regis University. We were literally minutes from campus ( walking ). After a couple of days of Orientation activities on campus it was nice to come back to a place that was very comfortable. Unlike a hotel you had space to stretch out and unwind. Stan , the owner, was great; easy to work with and helpful with local information. With our daughter just beginning a 4 year stint at RU we are hopeful of several more visits to "The Standard". Owner may want to consider darker curtains for the back room. The squirrels must be very active in the evening setting off the security light.

                                                          The location was great for our exploration of Denver and Boulder. The owner and his helpers were very friendly and great at guiding us to things to see/do in the area. We really loved the kitchen and bathrooms. There were stains on the carpet in the bedroom, but we would have no qualms about staying at this property again the future.

                                                          Located close to downtown, this converted gas station houses a couple units and an adjacent antique store. In fact, all the furnishings are for sale at the Standard. Just ask! Lots of stores on Federal Ave a couple blocks away. A fantastic neighborhood park 4 blocks away near the freeway, and several brewpubs, convenience stores and The Noshery (brekky & lunch) across the street. We didn't use the air conditioning as the fans were sufficient. and a lovely side yard and firepit for outdoor enjoyment! We loved the Standard!
