About Marilyn Simon

I was born and raised in Seattle and know this amazing city well! I am a true Seattleite: I love coffee, good food, & great drinks. I even like the rain (it really doesn't rain as much as they say). During the week, I enjoy visiting our beautiful parks on our many waterways. On the weekend, I adventure to our many lakes, or take a quick trip to the mountains to play in the forest. Honestly, they're close! Enjoying a night out on the town has endless possibilities with so many fantastic places for dinner, drinks, and then fun nightspots around Seattle.

What makes this bungalow unique

The Green Lake area is a charming neighborhood. You feel part of the local mix while walking to nearby coffee houses, restaurants, as well as Green Lake Park and the Woodland Park Zoo. The Carriage House is centrally located with easy access to downtown Seattle, I-5, and Highway 99. Seattle and its surrounds are at your fingertips in this convenient location!

Charming, perfect home base at Greenlake

  • 5 of 5

I'm a former Greenlake resident, and came back to spend a week visiting friends and my old favorite haunts. This spot was ideally located (exactly between the 2 Greenlake PCCs), very well-appointed (I loved cooking here, and am now inspired to pursue a few upgrades in my own kitchen), and so comfortable (nice sheets - and heated bathroom floor, ahhhhhh). I have to admit, I was confused by the fancy entertainment technology. I couldn't get it to pair with my iPhone to listen to my music through the Bose speakers, but I eventually figured out how to log into Netflix for a movie night. So lovely - thank you!

This place is fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying here! The space is gorgeous!

We're from Portland and travel to Seattle often. This was one of our favorite places. The location is perfect. We love being so close to GreenLake. There are tons of restaurants within walking distance and loved being able to walk around the lake. We've stayed in a ton of different areas of Seattle, and GreenLake is our favorite for sure.

The unit itself is super cozy. Its situated behind a really cool house that overlooks the lake. The unit seems like a very new addition to the compound and they didn't cut any corners in creating an adorable, cozy and high-end space. They thought of EVERYTHING and they really maximized the square footage. If you want to add an ADU at your house, you'll get some great ideas here! There's all the amenities that you think you may need - and more! The living space is very comfortable. The fireplace is a nice feature to have. We had it on all the time and wow, it heats up the space fast! The bathroom is nice and spacious (and has heated floors, WHAT!). The shower is so relaxing. The bed is super comfortable. Right when you walk in, its just very cozy and inviting. My husband walked around for like 15 minutes just scoping it out when we first arrived and being in complete awe of how well done the space was! There's even a parking spot right out front, which parking can be a challenge in this area sometimes. We'd stay here again for sure! Thanks for having us. Well done!
