Located in the seventh arrondissement, just a three minute walk to Rue Cler open market and a ten minute walk to the Champs de Mars and the Eiffel Tower. You are also within a few steps to the famous shopping street 'Rue St Dominique.'
You are located in the center of Paris, within one minute walk to shopping, food, restaurants, cafes and the real Paris atmosphere.
The apartment is located in an upscale building on the third french floor facing a peaceful courtyard with EIFFEL TOWER view!
The apartment is full of light, and gets sun all day long. The apartment is very quiet although located right near the famous Rue Cler Market street, where you will find butchers, bakeries, fruit stores, and great restaurants.
AN APARTMENT REMODELED FOR COMFORT:
In 2012 the apartment is being totally renovated and decorated.
The apartment is in a 18th century building and has already lots of character (typical wood floors, beams, moldings etc.)
The first master bedroom has a king-size bed and a desk with PC hooked up to the internet. The room is decorated with contemporary furniture which match perfectly the ancient feel of the apartment. En-suite of that bedroom is an entirely new bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet. The second bedroom has twin beds for independent sleeping, but they can be put together to make a king-size bed as well. Next to it and off the entrance is the second bathroom with bathtub, shower and toilet. (The apartment has two toilets).
In the living room are two sofas, one of which being being convertible and allowing for two more guests to sleep comfortably.
In the living room is a dining table for up to six guests, and you will also find the 42' Plasma TV with many cable Channels (plus DVD Player).
In front of the living room is the separate kitchen with a small eating area. It has a nice size and has a washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, burners, multi-function oven with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and boiler.
The apartment also offers unique features like a telephone line with unlimited calls to the United States, a PC with a DSL line, air conditioning in all the rooms, large flat TV screen.
The #69 bus recommended in guidebooks is 1/2 a block away, convenient to many sights -- we usually didn't bother with the Metro! The #80 to Champs Elysee and Montmartre, #63 to the Marmottan, and the Pont D'Alma RER C station to Versailles or Notre Dame are also convenient.

Great location and space
Perfect for a small family of 4. Located to walking markets, great restaurants and Eiffel Tower. Nice space in the kitchen if you want to cook. The property manager accessible if needed. They met us there upon arrival, explained the neighborhood and how to use the TV, etc. It was fine.
Really nice stay
Had a very nice 5night stay at this apartment around time of the Paris marathon - plenty of room for 4 adults with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. So convenient to have a kitchen (no oven) as well as washer/dryer (you supply detergent). We really enjoyed having a partial view of the Eiffel Tower in one of the bedrooms and watching it light up at night. Narrow stairwell to the 3rd (counts as 4th in the US) floor without elevator. Wifi easy to connect to. It was quiet at night. Small grocery store around the corner, lots of restaurants nearby. About a 10min walk from subway stations. Owner was responsive throughout process and check-in was very easy and smooth.
Thanks so much for staying here. We were delighted to have you stay at the apartment. Just a small note about the oven. The one at the apartment is a multifunction meaning that it will not only microwave but also bake and grill. Thanks. Pascal
Missing some home touches for comfort
Checking in and out was very efficient and Pascal was very accessible and helpful with airport transfers. However, the flat provided the essentials -but just barely. We bought paper towels and ran out of trash bags and dish detergent. There was no drapes / curtains for the room facing the street to shield from light and sounds. Previous stays with Home away (including in Paris) had comfortable sheets, towels, and placemats for the table- just as a comparison. However, the location is convenient and we enjoyed our visit in Paris. But the flat could use a few more essentials to earn more than 3 stars.
Hello. Sorry to hear you run out of trash bags and dish detergent. If you had informed me I would have brought it to you immediately. As you know we are very responsive to requests. We will improve the existing Chinese drapes in the twin bedroom.
We were able to check in early, which was most appreciated. Lucy met us at the apartment, giving a thorough explanation of everything we needed to know. Having ensuite laundry and two bathrooms were a definite plus. We found the apartment met our needs well. It was well-situated to the Metro (La Tour-Maubourg station) and buses, as well as restaurants, grocery stores, and cafes. Lucy arranged for transportation back to the airport (driver Serge was prompt), which was also appreciated. Having a view of the Eiffel Tower from the master bedroom was also pretty special!
My family of five stayed here for a week during December. Pascal and Lucy were very helpful and pleasant hosts. The apartment was quiet, clean, warm and in a fantastic location. Our bedroom had a glorious view of the Eiffel Tower and it was a 10 min walk away. We loved our stay at Ru Malar, for our young family, everything was accessible on foot. It is a really convenient location, you'll find supermarkets, street markets, shops, restaurants all within very easy walk from the apartment. The kitchen/laundry facilities were greatly appreciated - we ate out some nights but when required I was able to cook a family meal with all the utensils and facilities in the kitchen. The beds were warm and comfortable and the linen provided was clean.
Ru Malar is a fantastic Paris base, which we all enjoyed very much. It really made our Paris stay super easy and memorable. There are some really amazing restaurants right near the apartment, which we enjoyed. We will definitely look up Ru Malar again.
Just a little word of warning, there are a number of stairs as the apartment is located on the third floor. We didn't find this to be a problem but some with mobility issues may do.
We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Ru Malar to any family - it is in a most fantastic location, a real gem!
Great Location, Perfect Place
The apartment's location gave us access to everywhere we wanted to go - all by foot, from the Eiffel Tower to Notre Dame, Marais, Left Bank, etc. the accommodation description is accurate. We 4 adults were very comfortable. We ate out and ate in. We appreciated the washer and dryer as we set out to explore the rest of France. Pascal met us there and answered all our questions. I would definitely stay here again.
Thanks Laurie it was a real pleasure to have you here and to serve your needs.
À bientôt !
