Originally built as a working studio for a well known local artist & antiques dealer, the airy space has the feel of a church with stained glass, large casement windows, gorgeous garden view, and a funky free standing claw foot tub/shower. The space has appeared in numerous magazines and on television because of its unique design. Decorated with a mix of antiques, mid century modern furniture, and original art, it is still used as a painter's lair, but was recently upgraded to rent as a luxurious one of a kind escape getaway. Located on the 2nd floor of a detached garage in Lawrenceville, it's 1 block from The Lawrenceville School and 6 miles from Princeton University. There is complete privacy and the only sounds are the birds chirping.

Designer Treehouse Treasure
Fay was a great host. We stayed five nights during our son's graduation from Princeton and looked forward after busy days to returning each night to our "Treehouse." Fay's place is just a 15 minute drive from Princeton. Communication was a breeze and the room was clean and quiet. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. As you can see from the pictures it is a unique and fun space. Also, within a 5 minute walk are a wonderful bakery and several good restaurants. Thanks again Fay for a lovely stay!
So glad you enjoyed your stay. You were dream guests! Come back anytime please.
Additional information about rental rates
While there is a small kitchen in the studio with fridge, microwave, sink and coffee maker, it's not outfitted with a stove. It's really not meant for someone who wants to cook meals, other than simple breakfasts, lunch, snacks, etc.
