The Author C S Lewis visited here in 1925, and said "The view from the balcony was beyond everything I have seen".
The accommodation is over two floors and retains original features of the building.
Private entrance via a sloping path leading to Terrace. Ground floor has a spacious Lounge with sea views over the Bay. To one side there is a single bedroom with ensuite Wet room, providing for easier mobility. The Lounge / Diner with Terrace has magnificent sea views. To the rear is a fully fitted kitchen. Stairs lead up to the Master bedroom with king size hand carved mahogany Four Poster bed with a quality mattress for good night's sleep. The en suite bathroom has a power shower over bath tub.
A fourth person can be slept on a Victorian style, quality, sofa bed, measuring 3 feet wide and 6'6" long. Please request at time of booking.

Lynton is a convenient base from which to explore Exmoor National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Victorians called this area "Little Switzerland". Exmoor meets the sea, with rugged cliffs, and secluded beaches. It is a haven for walkers, and there are more than 500 miles of footpaths. These traverse open moorland at the top, and drop down into wooded gorges next to the streams and rivers that flow towards the sea, several hundred feet below.
