Cozy cabin on Loon Lake Road leading down to Rangeley Lake. and going up to local airport making it possible to come by plane. Trees on three sides . Open field in front offers vista of beautiful sunsets, occasional deer and wild flowers that bloom depending on season and rainfall (!).. Town within 30 - 40 minutes of safe walking distance down a paved sidewalk. Nearby hiking, swimming, snowshoeing or cross country skiing on Saddleback Mountain itself. Rangeley has plenty of good restaurants and an inn with more formal dining.. The drive up Loon Lake Road takes you past woods and fields with open views of mountains all around. Loon calls heard from the two nearby lakes (Rangeley and Loon). Loon Lake has only private access while Rangley Lake below has public swimming and State beaches.
Master bedroom is on the first floor (see photograph) while sleeping in the loft is possible. The coach pulls out to sleep two people comfortably. Combined dining room living room and kitchen.
The glassed-in screened font porch has a small coffee table. It is otherwise called a heated mud room. Plenty of windows. All in fresh pine wood inside. Still growing flowering trees and rose bushes add some privacy from those pedestrians or cars passing-by. Wild life (mainly deer and turkeys) frequent the backyard. For the summer there is an outdoor fire pit.
The driveway is long enough to park snowmobiles.
The property is near enough for a day or overnight trip to Canada.
