2 COSY AND CLEAN APARTMENTS : A. perfect for family. & B. for 2 people.

This beautiful property has 2 apartments, and it is located in a very good, high standard neighbourhood. Very quiet and safe.

Apartment A is for 5 people max.

Apartment B for 2 people. (studio).

These cosy apartments are on ground floor, located in a beautiful area in the city, and has amazing view. And only few minutes drive to the downtown Reykjavík, city center.

This house-unit is in the end of a short street(new, since 2009) in a very nice and quiet neighborhood, although it is a short disstance to all that you need.

A mini market is only 5 minutes walk. Super-market is near by, and big outdoor swimmingpool is only 3-4 minutes walk. Bus stop is in the same street, so public transport are very easy.

Apartment A : is the bigger apartment in this beautiful new house, built 2009. It has two bedrooms, one with double bed, and a small room with one single bed. New sofa (it is also a sofabed) in october 2016 .

Also a new mattres in the bigger bedoom in october 2016.

All beds are very comfortable.

Baby crib is also available.

The kitchen and the bright and cosy living room is in one open space, all new and beautiful oak interior. Very well equipped kitchen.

Excellent choice for families, or groups up to 5 people.

By the house is a private garden, it is perfect place for kids to play, and the apartment has a private entrance.

In a short distance is a swimmingpool, gymnasium, and a playground.(5-7 min walk.)

Only a few minutes drive to Reykjavík center, and it takes only 15-20 minutes with a bus into Reykjavik centre. Very good bus transportation. Very safe and quiet area.

Both apartments has a private veranda with a BBQ, and a private entrance. The house and surrounding is

very safe, and you will feel like home:)

What makes this apartment unique

The beautiful and extraordinarily outdoor swimmingpool

(the Grafarvogslaug) is only few steps away. It only takes you 3-4 minutes to walk. It is really fantastic to end a long day of travelling, in one of the hot tubs there, real treat!

It was a wonderful experience! Easy access to the apartment from the main roads and out to see the magnificent Iceland. Very clean apartment and comfortable. With a short drive around you'll find restaurants, grocery stores, fast food, gas station...

Will repeat. No need to look for more.

Totally Awesome

Awesome apartment! Awesome location, convenient and economical. Good value for the very modern facilities. I used this location because I wanted to be close to the city, but not inside Reykjavik. This was a perfect spot! The people are really nice and answer all your questions. The place was ready early and was very quite.

I live in North Iceland and I need to visit the south for business . This was a good choice. I will always call here first before booking with anyone else!

Quite & Calm Retreat!

First of all, want to praise the owner of this apartment for flexibility and for the excellent communication, always replying any enquiry very fast! Helena was so kind to let us do the check in early and also for accepting the payment in pounds, saving us some money! The caretaker who opened the apartment for us and gave us all the tips, were very kind and friendly! The apartment was comfortable and big enough for 3 adults and 2 children! The beds were extremely comfortable, even the sofa bed where my two children slept! The living area and the bathroom were also quite spacious! The kitchen area was not so big, but enough for quick and simple meals! We loved to be out of the town in a tranquil surrounding and close to the public hot pools! We also loved to always return to a warm place! I regret that I can not give 5 stars and the only reason is that we didn't get the apartment clean enough; it did lack hygiene! Maybe this was because there was not enough time to get it clean before our arrival! I'm not sure! But I did clean it as I would like to have found it and left it clean also on our departure, despite having paid cleaning fee! But for everything else, it was great!

Peaceful and a view of the mountains.

My family and I stayed in Iceland for two weeks. The first day we arrived in the afternoon, and had nothing for dinner og ready for breakfast the next day. The owner was very sweet and she immediately offered to drive us in her own car to the nearst shop to buy food. She lived very close, and was always very helpful in explaining places to go, what to see, what to think about and so on.

The apartment is at the edge of the capital area, so Reykjavik downtown and most shops were a little far away. Since I have lived in Iceland as a child and speak some Icelandic, getting around with bus was not so compliceted. And the bus system works fine, once you know where to go. But otherwise renting a car would be a good option.

Although the apartment was a little far away from everything, some shops and restaurants were 25 minutes walking distance away, once we found the route with a google search. The owner was always helpful though.

One of the best things was the nearby out doors swimming pool area, which are very popular in Iceland and very cheap (hot water is very cheap on this volcanic island). There are many of these in Iceland, and the one closest to us was a 5 minutes walk away. I have been to many in Iceland, and this one was very good, with swimming lanes, childrens pools and stuff, and of course the famous hot tubs: Small pools with benches in them, and very hot water. We went there every or every other day, just to sit and relax and melt in the delicious hot water.

The apartment itself was a little simple, but just fine, with kitchen stuff and so on.There was a TV (which we didn't use I think) and free internet. It was all okay with what we needed. Right out the door we had a lovely view of the mountains, and the neighborhood was very quiet and nice. We went there with our one-year-old son, and happily let him sleep outside in the stroller.

I would highly recommend this place for at small family looking for a simple but nice apartment in a quiet area on the outskirts of Reykjavik. And when we come to Iceland again, I would definately consider this place again.

And if you come to Iceland, remember to bring swimming clothes and buy some local chocolate.

Great location. Clean and spacious apartment.

We had a lovely stay at this apartment! We were able to easily find the apartment and were warmly greeted and shown around. We booked "Apartment A" and it was superbly clean, and more than spacious enough for the three of us (we could definitely see 5 people staying here comfortably). We loved the quiet neighbourhood, the rolling field of flowers in the backyard, the view into the city, and its proximity to the N1 gas station, and the nearby Korputorg Bonus. There is a walking trail way behind the field of flowers that could definitely be of use for people who take their morning jogs seriously--even on vacation.

We were there in the summer, so even with the extended daylight (20+ hours a day) we were still able to get a good night's sleep thanks to the thick curtains. The wifi was great and easy to connect to. We also enjoyed the tv on our down time late at night.

We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Iceland. Thank you for your lovely apartment!

Great location, only 8-10 minutes drive to city center. Bus transportation is very good, bus stop is 100 m away from the apartment. Super-market is near by.

Spectacular views of the city, many exciting things to visti in the area, good neighborhood for kids to play outside.

Egilsholl, the biggest sports hall in Iceland is in the neighborhood.

An ice skating hall, and many other activities.

There is also a cinema and bowling alley in Egilsholl.
