The main upstairs Cabin has two bedrooms with new queen beds. Water is fresh from the mountain and drinkable, however we supply a 5 gallon water jug per weekly rental of which you may wish to pick up a few jugs yourself from town. The cabin has propane gas (750 lb tank)for stoves and fridges and lights are on solar system for evening lighting, generator provided to keep system running, flashlights are a must to bring, solar path lights to the beach as well. There is a lower cabin that has a queen bed overlooking the lower deck as well as an upper queen and futon for the kids, and the picture perfect lake, with lounge furniture on each deck. 12' wide x 42' long Dock on lake with two moorings to moore boats at night in case of storms so as not to damage boats. You will need a mooring rope and dock ropes.

There is a fire pit with seating for evening fires with lawn chairs when not in a fire ban there is a portable propane fire pit which will require you to bring a 30lb tank (for fire bans). There is some firewood stacked for burning and lots more to carry down from the forest. The weather is mostly lovely and meeting the neighbours or their renters is a lot of fun, too. Duvets and pillows provided for each bed but ask that you bring your own sleeping linens, sheets and pillow cases, towels for the beach and kitchen towels. About Karen A. Watt

I am a Human Resources Recruiter in Kamloops, BC, I love the water and spend as much time as i can on the Lake when not travelling. I love to share my piece of paradise with families when i am unable to use my cabin.

Karen A. Watt purchased this cabin in 1992

Why Karen A. Watt chose Shuswap Lake

After spending almost 10 years Boating on the Shuswap, a rustic cabin came available and that was that. In 1992 we started renovations and additions, and continue every year updating or adding a building, dock etc. Formerly from Calgary, we would travel every other weekend to be on the lake, I learned to Love and respect this peace and quite time with the lull of the water putting me to sleep, after of course a full day of watching skiers and tubers. If you are looking for a lovely, romantic spot to spend a week or two with your spouse or your immediate family, you may want to consider this cabin indeed. More photos upon request.

What makes this cabin unique

The 42' dock is definately a plus, i enjoy sun tanning and entertaining and the dock is definately a people pleaser. Fires in the firepit in the evening, cool shade for those that dont like the sun much, convenience store at the Narrows for most anything even SeaDo Rentals. And the famous Shark Shack Tikki Tikki Bar for those that want a nice lunch or ice cream and or a cocktail
