The hosts we super accomodating, there was no internet, we asked they got it, flexible, we changed our time of arrival three times, they said no problem, honest and really nice. The aprtment has just been renovated and everything is brand new, not to mention good quality. The surrounding area is something out of the 16th century, palatial in every sense of the word; including a huge private garden, two story turret and gorgeous patio. There is no noise, the property is very clean and the location is fantastic. Let's just say I would like to stay here next time we visit Cannes.
The building and the grounds are magnificent, and protected. This is an historic building built in 1872 as Hotel Continental and converted into a residence post WWII. Car park is available in the private alley leading to the residence.
The residence is above the Forville Market and the Old Town of Cannes accessible via a pedestrian path through the lovely gardens to a locked gate for which residents only have the digit code.
This leads straight down to Forville and the Palais des Festivals, the centre of town and the beaches which are all within walking distance.
So for short term seasonal this studio is very well suited.
