About Jim Nosler
We live and work in Austin, Texas and love to spend as much time as we can visiting the Cape. We love the natural beauty of the area and enjoy exploring the Bay Beaches as well as the National Seashore. Brewster is our favorite part of the Cape, but we also love Chatham, Orleans, Provincetown, and Dennis!
Jim Nosler purchased this Cottage in 2015
Why Jim Nosler chose Brewster
We picked our home after looking at a number of properties in the area. The open layout, quiet neighborhood, and close proximity to the beaches and other local attractions sealed the deal for us! While each of the towns and villages on the cape have their own unique appeal, Brewster is the perfect getaway spot for us because of its perfect combination of a quiet, rural setting, great restaurants, central location on the lower cape, great hiking trails, and most of all, the best beaches anywhere! Whether just relaxing on the beach, swimming at high tide, or exploring the flats at low tide, every day at the beach is a good day! Brewster is known for its great restaurants, art galleries, and some of the finest old homes on the cape. Many of the grand houses along Route 6A were built as homes for sea captains in the 19th century. Just to the west is the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, with great educational programming and exhibits, plus great birding and hiking trails along the marshes.
What makes this Cottage unique
Our home provides a perfect base for a quick getaway or full vacation on the cape! No matter how active or relaxing your itinerary, you will feel at home right away! We spend a lot of time on the screened porch, and many of our guests comment the screened porch was their favorite place to relax! The open floor plan is welcoming and we have gone to great lengths to decorate and furnish our home to provide a simple yet luxurious experience for our guests.

This is a charming, clean, updated property. There needs to be some upkeep to the exterior and grounds, as well as the basement level, but for a vacation property, this was really perfect. Loved the porch. Lots of amenities.
Thank you. Charming, clean, and updated are high praise, and we continually strive to maintain that throughout. Our infinished basement is just that, unfinished, and is not advertised as living space, but as storage and laundry. Outdoor furniture is subject to the elements, and guests may use at their discretion.
Nice house in beautiful Brewster
Nice and clean house! We really enjoyed our stay. We went only for a week-end and we were happy to find it available as most houses in Cape Cod are weekly rentals. Great communication with the owners. Nice outside screened porch! Well equiped kitchen. Only bad, we were not able to make a bonfire.
We appreciate your kind remarks about our home and decor. We pride ourselves on keeping it pristine and stocked with everything to make it cozy and accommodating for our guests. As for the bonfire request, it is our choice to protect our property from accidents that can certainly happen with open fires, and to be clear, we do not represent the cottage as having an outdoor fire pit and prefer safety first on the property. Thank you again.

Awesome property, very clean and organized and such a great decorating flair.
We had a great vacation at this property. It was so clean and organized yet I felt right at home. The house offered everything we needed to be comfortable and functional such as central AC, gas grill, screened in porch, games and a great location close to the beaches.
Thank you! We are so glad that you enjoyed your visit. We look forward to hosting you all again next summer!
