Clean and stocked.
The property was clean and stocked with all the amenities that we would have needed and more. The abundance of kitchen tools, spices, and linens exceeded expectations. The location was great, right off the lake, with a coffee shop, bar, breakfast and pizza place only two blocks away. When there was an issue the property manager responded immediately and got everything taken care of within 24 hours. Would recommend.
This is a nice place. Nothing too fancy but perfect for us. 1/2 block from the water. Great location and convenient to all parts of Seattle. Rebecca was very responsive. We enjoyed our vacation.
Great location and accommodations.
Location was amazing. 5-10 minute Lyft rides to anything you want to do downtown. Everything was comfortable and we all slept great. It was super hot a few nights but that’s just because it was a Seattle heat wave and houses there don’t have A/C. Not a problem of the owners. They did have a plethora of fans around the house which was much appreciated! The strict sorting and recycling regulations made us a little nervous but I think it worked out okay. Definitely recommend!
5 Stars, but.... not the fault of the host.
Seattle garbage and recycling laws and rules are so confusing that I still don't understand them. The terms of rental include instructions to follow, but they simply are too complicated to figure out. Hopefully I didn't make any mistakes causing a fine and threatened loss of deposit. I think the host should be more hands on in this area instead of transfering responsibility to the guest. Wouldn't the cleaning fee cover the handling of the garbage?
Perfect space for a small group in a great location.
The space was just about right for the group of friends I was with. The location was very convenient. Very close to a bus stop or short Uber/Lyft in to Seattle. Left me wanting to spend more time exploring the neighborhood or just taking a walk to the lake.
Overall it was a very decent place and great location.
The property was nice. It was clean. Rebecca is a very sweet lady. My over all opinion of the property is good and it served it’s purpose.
There are a few issues that we came across but nothing we couldn’t work through. However when I’m looking at properties to rent I want to know the full picture so here is my full picture…
As stated in a previous review, there was not enough seating for a large group of people. I was told afterwards that I could’ve requested a table set but I was never made aware of that prior to or during my stay. It was hard for the entire family (6) to gather around the table to eat or play games in the evening.
Also, only two rolls of toilet paper were provided. I was told from Rebecca that is all she provides and if my group needs more, I am expected to purchase more. My problem with that is, at over $266 a night, I think that’s not appropriate. Just supply toilet paper.
Water pressure in the kitchen sink made it difficult to do dishes. There were plenty of pots and pans but most cups and none of the plates were “little kid” friendly.
The shower pressure was perfect so don’t worry!
Shampoo, conditioner and body soap along with a hairdryer were supplied.
So happy for the washer / dryer. This was the first destination on my summer tour so the washer / dryer were perfect.
There is a strict recycling policy which was not disclosed prior to me renting. My family was nervous they were going to missort the trash and forgo our security deposit.
Overall the property itself was clean and well decorated. It’s location is close to the on and off ramp of Highway 5. In a very quaint and quiet neighborhood close to the water. There is not any picnic areas within walking distance but some little alcoves that can be enjoyed especially the one directly at the end of the street.
I had a good experience and would recommend this location to others.
