Stay at King's Creek Plantation cottages, 3 br, 3-1/2 bath. (one bed/bath locks off from other 2 to become two separate units.) full kitchen, washer/dryer, flat screen tv's - - this is a full size home with almost 1,800 sq. Ft. Of living space. (take a tour of the resort while you're there and get free gifts - - usually - - but you aren't committed to do that by renting here. Simply decline at check-in when asked.)
Sleeps 10 comfortably with 3 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen, 2 twins) and two queen-size sleep-sofas. Using the lock-out, this can be easily used for two families vacationing together.
The first floor of the cottage contains the master suite, the dining room, a full sized kitchen, and living room. The master suite offers its own kitchenette, a private patio, sitting room, and jacuzzi in the master bath. The living room features a large flat-screen television and vcr/dvd player and an owner or guest will find additional televisions in each of the bedrooms. Each unit is also equipped with a washer and dryer to make weekly stays as convenient as possible.
The resort has a state of the art work-out/sauna, 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, miniature golf, tennis and basketball courts. Nearby activities include golf, kayaking, canoeing, and white water rafting. There is a vast amount of history to explore in the nearby old colonial town of Williamsburg.
By the way, Busch Gardens opened another roller coaster last year -- Tempesto! Per the resort's website, the Busch Gardens/Water Country Flex ticket is the best ticket to beat the July heat! It allows you unlimited entry for all 7 days of your stay and is less than the standard cost for one-day admission to Busch Gardens.
