About owner/property manager
Tryon native, always wanted to get back here. Worked for BofA, Universities, lived up and down East Coast, and traveled the world, but always made it back here frequently to visit my extended family. My 3 children are all in college, but think of Tryon as their second home. Lots of great hikes, trails, restaurants, art galleries, antiques, and a wonderful old library - one of 17 subscription libraries in the country - visitors encouraged! I have numerous books and publications here about near by attractions and what is going on in the area.
owner/property manager purchased this House in 2014
Why owner/property manager chose Tryon
The best of in town living with views that make you think you are up on a mountain top. Large casement windows let in views of the woods, the landscaped lawn and patio and the mountains. My favorite house I've ever lived in. Open, but space for privacy.
What makes this House unique
Huge deck with seating for 9 plus a teak living room arrangement. Also seating for four on the front of the house outdoors. Seating for 10 at our farm table. We have a mountain view off our 680 sq foot deck, and a woods view off the front, with a croquet set for the lawn.

Beautiful warm home
Several of us were supporting riders competing at the Tryon International Horse Park. Not only was this house convenient, it was beautiful. We loved our stay. After a long day we drank wine at night and coffee in the morning on the deck looking out on the mountains. Just wonderful. Thank you so much.
Lovely house and garden with lots of comfy places to sit indoors and out
We enjoyed the deck and the stone patio in the garden. Very convenient to town yet private. Green and lush surroundings. The house had everything we needed.
What great guests! Please come back!
Charming Foothills Home
Spacious house with lots of natural light and a great big porch. I really love the view of Hogbsck mountain. The Town of Tryon itself is really quite lovely
Thank you for staying here! This property is half a mile from downtown Tryon, half a mile from Harmon Field and 12 miles from TIEC. And, surrounded by 8 acres of woods with a gorgeous view. Come stay again!
Lovely home about 10 minutes from Tryon horse show. Charming and comfortable , the owners were extremely helpful and accommodating.
Love this house!! The deck and family areas are huge and comfy. Kitchen has a lot of charm. Love the spacious master bedroom and the other bedrooms were very cozy. Very close to quaint downtown Tryon. We will definitely stay again!
The home was so comfortable! Light and airy and beautiful colors. Fun art is everywhere making us all smile. 3 bedrooms were spacious, kitchen had everything you could want. Loved all the comfy chairs in two different living spaces. Great seating for watching the birds with morning coffee. Sunset over Hogback Mtn. was superb from the big porch or from the living room. The porch is just perfect. The house is shaded by old trees and close enough to downtown Tryon that we could hear the sounds of live music. Wonderful house to come home to after touring the area. We will come again!
Thank you for your review! This property is unique in that we virtually in town, close to everything, but you also get gorgeous mountain views with the woods all around. I look forward to hosting your family again!
I am 1 mile from Harmon Field, and 11 easy miles from Tryon International Equestrian Center. 7 miles from Saluda and 35 miles from both Asheville and Greenville SC. Lots of great music art and festivals going on all summer.
