Perfect property for a week away with our toddler so comfortable a stay. Location is brilliant for access to the village, great choice of local shops and restaurants and the best children’s play park for kids of all ages. We will definitely be back!
Great cottage in a fantastic village 👍👍
Impressively well presented cottage in a great, quiet location, very clean and comfortable throughout. Extremely well equipped with high end facilities and appliances. We found everything about this cottage to be at least as advertised and given the opportunity would return without hesitation. A credit to the owners and highly recommendable.
Lovely cottage in great location
We have just completed a week's holiday in this lovely cottage.
The accommodation was first class and the cottage was very warm and cosy.
We will definitely be coming back to this treasure in the Cotswolds!!
Lovely cottage in picturesque location
Very comfortable and well equipped cottage, perfect location and home base while we visited the area.
Well modernised and furnished cottage.
Debbie, the Owner and Sharon, the local agent were most helpful. The cleaning lady did a wonderful job in preparing the property for our visit. It had taken her almost until 4pm to clean up and change everything from the previous occupiers.
Some of the KitchenAid equipment was a little too complicated for us.
The beds were huge and most comfortable as were the settees in the lounge. Not sure that It is really suitable for very elderly people with mobility issues as there are too many steps and the risers of the two down into the kitchen are of different heights, perhaps a handrail might help. Having said that the Owner and her Contractors are to be complimented on the modernisation and fitting out.
Broadway is a thriving village with lots of activities and events, including the well known Broadway Arts Festival, horse trials and other sporting events, vintage cars meetings, and food festivals. There is a steam railway from Broadway to Cheltenham race course, and there are many countryside walks including the Cotswolds Way. National Trust properties locally include Snowshill Manor, Hidcote, Chastleton House, Croome and Coughton Court. There are also privately owned houses and gardens in the area, including Sudeley Castle and Stanway House, (which has the highest gravity fountain in the World), which are open to the public, and many beautiful Cotswolds villages are nearby. Historic Stratford Upon Avon, ( the birthplace of William Shakespeare), and the beautiful spa town of Cheltenham are approx 15 miles away.
Broadway Tower with its fantastic views over 16 counties lies behind the cottage, at the end of a walk of one and a quarter miles direct from the cottage, along the fields of the Cotswolds Way, and is well worth a visit.
