2 Bedroom/1 Bath Home With Outdoor Shower And Awesome Outdoor Entertainment Area

Affordable 2BR/1BA modern beach house that is perfect for a romantic getaway or family fun vacation!! Bedroom 1 has a queen-size bed, dresser and TV. Bedroom 2 has a twin over queen bunk bed plus a twin pull out trundle being perfect for a kids' room or second couple just using the queen-size bottom bed. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa and recliner with a large TV. The house can sleep up to 8 persons. There is a double stacked washer and dryer in the hallway. The kitchen and house has everything you need for a perfect stay.

We provide all linens and bath towels (you will need to bring your beach towels), toiletries, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and a fully stocked kitchen including spices and condiments.

A prominent feature of the house is a very nice downstairs entertainment area and large deck with an outdoor shower. The sitting area has two porch swings and two chairs in which to relax while watching TV or enjoying the gas fire pit while you barbeque on the charcoal grill. The yard itself is fully fenced for your four legged family members and has the best grass they will ever have the pleasure of running around on.

The house is walking distance (three blocks or a quarter mile) to all community amenities such as a marina, two restaurants, kids' playground, tennis courts, store, bait shop, boat ramp, fishing and crabbing pier and of course, the BEACH and bay. The Sea Isle pool is open from Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend and during spring break, dependent upon the weather. If you choose to have access to the pool, a $50 pass may be purchased at the pool area. The $50 pass covers up to 10 guests for one week.

You and your family and friends will feel right at home. All you need is your bathing suit, beach towels and sunscreen.

I have enjoyed four homes in Sea Isle over the last thirty years and have many fond memories raising children, visiting with family and making friends here. I enjoy the relaxation of this subdivision's atmosphere and stay practically every weekend to relax and recharge.

Why Lee Ludwick chose Gulf Coast

Sea Isle by far is the best subdivision on the island due to its community amenities and spirit that fills the air when you visit. I purchased this home because of its open vaulted ceilings and east facing front porch for enjoying coffee in the morning and watching the sunrise. The downstairs is open to the prevailing southeast wind and usually has a nice breeze when other locations do not, making it the place we hang out the most. The wrap around deck and sitting area with TV is where we spend most of our time eating dinner and enjoying company.

What makes this house unique

This home is midway between the beach front and bay. You can actually hear the surf on clear nights. Any place you wish to visit is only three blocks away due to its central location. You can't beat the downstairs entertainment area that is open to the back yard so your pets can also enjoy it with you. The outdoor propane fire pit is a wonderfully relaxing feature anytime of the year; especially spring, fall and winter.

Peaceful quiet environment!

We loved it! Didn't want to leave! The house is comfy and well stocked. The front porch is awesome with the sea breeze blowing off the gulf. The downstairs patio area is great. We enjoyed football, music and cooking. Our sweet Gracie loved the pretty back yard and met some new furry friends. We rented a golf cart and had a blast going to the beach, fishing pier and the marina. It was a much needed awesome vacation from the city. Thanks Lee for everything!

Well maintained, clean, and great for adults and children

We had a great time with our children for their first time at the beach. I met up with my sisters and their children for a weekday vacation. We were driving from Iowa and North Texas and the best part was how responsive and helpful Lee, the owner was for our planning questions in advance. The house had everything we needed. We picked up groceries on our way in and had everything we needed to cook. I would recommend to bring your own condiments. I thought only having one bathroom would be an issue, but with the shower outside for after the beach, we never had any issues. There were toys for the children, sitting areas for the adults and beach chairs to take down to the beach. Our only issue is we wish we would have planned a few more days. Enjoy your travels, the locals in this neighborhood were really nice and friendly. We didn't make it down to the local little marina, we wish we would have, but having the local little convenient store so close was nice.

Great house, Quiet Neighborhood, Close to the Beach

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and provided everything you would need (minus groceries). There was a washer and dryer so you could do laundry during your stay if needed. We enjoyed our days at the beaches right across the street - which were not crowded at all unlike the beaches closer into town. The outdoor shower in the backyard was nice to be able to wash off the beach sand before heading inside. We loved going out to the pier in the neighborhood to watch the sunsets, catch hermit crabs, and go fishing. The deck downstairs had a great set up for fun family time. We grilled burgers and sat in the swings around the fire pit. Keep in mind that the house is fairly far from town. It takes 20-30 minutes to get into town so plan your days accordingly to avoid back and forth trips. We would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a nice getaway at the beach!

The perfect Island home for a relaxing getaway!

This Island rental home was perfect for my family and dog. The home is clean, nicely appointed and has everything that you need. Just bring along your food and beverage. The rest is there. We especially enjoyed the relaxing outdoor living area with the porch swings and the built in TV. The rear deck area has beautiful accent lighting at night. The fences were in great shape to keep our dog securely contained. Sea Isle also has a great little store at the marina that had exactly what we needed. Lee was responsive to any questions that I had. We will definitely be back!

Casa de la Bahia - What a Treat!

My husband and I stayed here July 29th - August 4th and had a great time. The house was perfect and located in a nice neighborhood. The downstairs area was so relaxing and equipped with a nice grill which we used almost every night for dinner. My husband loved the outdoor shower. There is a marina, store, swimming pool and bar/grill just a few blocks away in the same neighborhood. Also in that same area is The West End Restaurant that has amazing food - you must try the Avocado, Jalapeno, Bacon Wrapped Shrimp! The beach is located just blocks away and wasn't crowded like Stewart Beach. We were able to park our truck on the beach and set-up next to the truck which was so convenient. We were sad when we had to leave and return home - back to reality. Owner Lee Ludwick was the best. Anytime I had a question, he answered me within minutes which we appreciated. You will enjoy this rental!

I loved the cozy feel and all the comforts of home.

My emails were answered in a timely manner, everything was in great working order, the place was very clean and functionable, beds were very comfortable and the outdoor living space was my favorite part of the property. The pool was a little disappointing because it was $50 extra, limited hours, and small/crowded. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends.

Sea Isle is located on the west end of Galveston Island. Away from the day crowds that pack the beaches in Galveston proper. Sea Isle is the most complete west end subdivision with its own marina, two restaurants, fishing pier, tennis courts, swimming pool and playground.

The personality of the subdivision is so relaxed that one weekend stay feels like a full week vacation! Everyone here is on Island time!

There are many community events going on every month. The marina Sand Bar restaurant has karaoke on the weekends and sometimes there are fishing tournaments going on.

There are so many activities to do. My personal favorites are coffee on the upper deck in the morning, beachcombing and water activities in the afternoon, happy hour refreshments just before grilling dinner on the downstairs entertainment area and a must see sunset at the pier after dinner. Fishing and crabbing is good anytime. It is also a blast to chase sand crabs on the beach with flashlights at night if you have young children and the community park with playgrounds is just three blocks away .

Sitting around the downstairs fire pit in the winter, summer, fall and spring with family and friends just doesn't get any better than that.

Sea Isle is a state of mind. :-)
