2 Bedroom/1 Bath Home With Outdoor Shower And Awesome Outdoor Entertainment Area

Affordable 2BR/1BA modern beach house that is perfect for a romantic getaway or family fun vacation!! Bedroom 1 has a queen-size bed, dresser and TV. Bedroom 2 has a twin over queen bunk bed plus a twin pull out trundle being perfect for a kids' room or second couple just using the queen-size bottom bed. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa and recliner with a large TV. The house can sleep up to 8 persons. There is a double stacked washer and dryer in the hallway. The kitchen and house has everything you need for a perfect stay.

We provide all linens and bath towels (you will need to bring your beach towels), toiletries, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and a fully stocked kitchen including spices and condiments.

A prominent feature of the house is a very nice downstairs entertainment area and large deck with an outdoor shower. The sitting area has two porch swings and two chairs in which to relax while watching TV or enjoying the gas fire pit while you barbeque on the charcoal grill. The yard itself is fully fenced for your four legged family members and has the best grass they will ever have the pleasure of running around on.

The house is walking distance (three blocks or a quarter mile) to all community amenities such as a marina, two restaurants, kids' playground, tennis courts, store, bait shop, boat ramp, fishing and crabbing pier and of course, the BEACH and bay. The Sea Isle pool is open from Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend and during spring break, dependent upon the weather. If you choose to have access to the pool, a $50 pass may be purchased at the pool area. The $50 pass covers up to 10 guests for one week.

You and your family and friends will feel right at home. All you need is your bathing suit, beach towels and sunscreen.

About Lee Ludwick

I have enjoyed four homes in Sea Isle over the last thirty years and have many fond memories raising children, visiting with family and making friends here. I enjoy the relaxation of this subdivision's atmosphere and stay practically every weekend to relax and recharge.

Why Lee Ludwick chose Gulf Coast

Sea Isle by far is the best subdivision on the island due to its community amenities and spirit that fills the air when you visit. I purchased this home because of its open vaulted ceilings and east facing front porch for enjoying coffee in the morning and watching the sunrise. The downstairs is open to the prevailing southeast wind and usually has a nice breeze when other locations do not, making it the place we hang out the most. The wrap around deck and sitting area with TV is where we spend most of our time eating dinner and enjoying company.

What makes this house unique

This home is midway between the beach front and bay. You can actually hear the surf on clear nights. Any place you wish to visit is only three blocks away due to its central location. You can't beat the downstairs entertainment area that is open to the back yard so your pets can also enjoy it with you. The outdoor propane fire pit is a wonderfully relaxing feature anytime of the year; especially spring, fall and winter.

Property was greatly maintained

Great house, very cute. Super quite neighborhood, with in walking distance of the beach and the private fishing pier was a plus. Everyone at the Marina store and restaurant were friendly and nice. The house has everything you could possible need in the kitchen, very clean and looked excatly like the pictures you see online. I have nothing bad to say about this great house, if I had to add something a golf cart included as an option in the rental would be great. The owner and his son has great customer service and answered any questions right away.

Home away from home...

The home was warm & welcoming, giving an 'at home' feel. Being able to bring our fur-babies made it even better. The property had a beautiful backyard and a nice sitting area, well lit and with a relaxing ambiance. The decor brought the beach and ocean to you, with a very roomy kitchen, great lighting & a quaint little living area. The beach was close, the private pier accessible, a swimming pool available and a store within walking distance, where they have the basics you might need or forgot to pack, along with a friendly staff and souvenirs. Lee made sure everything was provided except food & drink, as well as was quick to answer any questions or help with guiding us, where needed. We just wish we could have stayed longer.

The very first two important things I noticed : 1. the house was very clean and well taken care. 2. the owner was very kind and responsive for every need.

These two things alone are usually what will get me to rent again on the same property. However there was even more to like. The inviting back yard and porch area with the barbecuing grill smoker and a fire pit gave us good reason to enjoy the outdoors at night after it cooled down.

You may want to consider bringing your own snuggle blanket for cozy nights at the house just provides bed linens and comforters.

The kitchen was stocked with adorable nonbreakable plates and bowls and about everything you could need to cook and serve. The only modern invention I would have enjoyed had it been provided would be a Keurig machine.

If you have a small enough group that can tolerate sharing a one bathroom somewhat smaller home just keep in mind that the 2nd bedroom alone could sleep five people. And with the cute backyard you may find yourself spending a lot of time outdoors anyways like we did.

Thanks to the owner/manager who really does give a crap (unlike so many of the bad ones out there) he even sent someone all the way from Houston to bring us a new propane tank so we could grill out. As ours was empty and the marina happened to be out of propane that weekend. Probably due to a tropical storm that was coming in.

And lastly, even though it is pet friendly, I could not tell one bit that pets had been using the house at all. It was so clean and were no pet smells of any kind.

I would rent this house again in the future !

Great family friendly place close to the ocean. Nice community and pool! All inclusive property with a great property manager to work with. Yard is beautiful for pets and outdoor area is amazing! We will come back!

Sea Isle is located on the west end of Galveston Island. Away from the day crowds that pack the beaches in Galveston proper. Sea Isle is the most complete west end subdivision with its own marina, two restaurants, fishing pier, tennis courts, swimming pool and playground.

The personality of the subdivision is so relaxed that one weekend stay feels like a full week vacation! Everyone here is on Island time!

There are many community events going on every month. The marina Sand Bar restaurant has karaoke on the weekends and sometimes there are fishing tournaments going on.

There are so many activities to do. My personal favorites are coffee on the upper deck in the morning, beachcombing and water activities in the afternoon, happy hour refreshments just before grilling dinner on the downstairs entertainment area and a must see sunset at the pier after dinner. Fishing and crabbing is good anytime. It is also a blast to chase sand crabs on the beach with flashlights at night if you have young children and the community park with playgrounds is just three blocks away .

Sitting around the downstairs fire pit in the winter, summer, fall and spring with family and friends just doesn't get any better than that.

Sea Isle is a state of mind. :-)
