Greener Pastures is best loved for its fabulous views .The house is mostly two story windows and sliding glass doors, and has a huge deck in the tree tops full of rocking chairs, a deluxe grill and a bistro table for eating. From there you can see the pastures, horses, cows and donkeys of Tom Brown's farm,in the beautiful North Fork Valley, surrounded by the Seven Sisters mountains, one of which you are perched upon. These views are also easily seen from the upstairs loft master bedroom ,the downstairs family room/suite with its own fireplace, the kitchen with bar seating, a French wine barrel table, a kitchen table for 6 looking out the big bay window, and the open, inviting living room with a two story rock mantle piece and wood burning fireplace.
But you may want to spend much of your time outdoors, even at night, on the hanging bed, roasting s'mores in the fire pit, or sharing an outside massage on the deck with a professional massage table. There is hiking right out of your front door up to the Asheville Reservoir, lots of bicycle riders choose the valley for their daily treks, swimming can be walked to at the "ole swimming hole" down the road, and there is so much more to do in town, less than 3 miles away. Greener Pastures is the perfect balance between privacy, nature and access to town.
