About the property

House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, Sleeps 5

With wildflowers out your back door in the summer and feet of powdery snow in the winter, your family or group of friends (up to five guests plus the dogs) will adore this charming Big Bear house.

After a morning around the stunning property, head out to nearby attractions like Big Bear Lake a few streets over, and The Village, as well as winter spots like Snow Summit and Bear Mountain Resorts a few miles up the mountain.

The spacious backyard is perfect for picnics, nature scavenger hunts, and snowball fights. The kids and dogs will love all the open space. Please keep in mind that there is a nightly pet fee if you would like to bring your canine friends along.

This cozy two-bedroom home has everything you'll need to feel right at home, plus recent renovations make it a beautiful rustic contemporary atmosphere. Snuggle up on the sofa to warm your toes by the fireplace and watch a movie on the flatscreen TV. Cable and WiFi are provided here for your convenience.

Across the room is a full kitchen and dining table for four. Easily keep bellies full using the provided major and small appliances.

A queen-size bed occupies one bedroom, and two twin beds are found in the other, giving up to four travelers space to rest each night. The fifth guest can nestle up on the sofa or bring a sleeping bag. There is also one full bathroom with a tub/shower combo to help relax sore muscles after a day on the slopes.

Summer getaways in Big Bear are full of water sports like boating, fishing, parasailing, jet skiing, tubing, and more, on the sparkling lake. The nearby marina offers rentals, so you won't miss out on any fun. Magic Mountain has a thrilling alpine slide, water slide (snow tubing in the winter), go-karts, and mini-golf for a wonderful afternoon with the whole group. In the winter, bring your skis and snowboards and drive three miles to Snow Summit Resort or five miles to Bear Mountain Resort for the best slopes in Southern California.

Book this California home for a mountain vacation you won't soon forget!

About Vacasa, CA - Inland Empire Local Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wifes family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Everything was great. Definitely recommend this place. Also close enough to the ski lifts and the village.

Cute cabin, great for small family

 • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin which was a great size for our family of four. Our kids loved playing outside on the large deck and in the yard. We enjoyed using the fireplace. House was clean and tidy. Note that there is not a dishwasher which was fine for us. However, I would suggest that more dish towels be provided.
