Welcome to this clean and comfortable basement suite (with 8ft ceiling height), located on a quiet street close to downtown Victoria. It is a private, bright, spacious and well appointed one bedroom unit (576 sf) that is a perfect pied-à-terre for a couple or an individual traveller. Enter through the frosted glass door into an open concept living area that includes a cosy sitting nook, a dining table and a cheerful kitchen. The bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with built in storage and a writing desk, whereas the bathroom has a shower/tub combination. It is an easy stroll to many of the tourist attractions for which Victoria is known. This is a non-smoking unit.

Very clean, modern, secure and well equipped. Location in the city was great.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Keep in mind there are stairs which

may deter those that have mobility problems.

New bldg, quiet neighborhood, street parking with provided permit

Nick friendly and helpful. Basement apartment newly decorated and very clean. Well out fitted and comfortable. Pin-drop quiet at night. Walking distance to all downtown attractions. Our car never moved until we checked out. Would stay again and recommend it to friends.

A place that is so much more than the pictures

We were looking forward to staying in the "Green Suite" as our friendly and gracious host Nick calls it because in the pictures the place looked pretty good. We found the suite to be exceptionally clean, comfortable and within walking distance of downtown Victoria and close to major transportation to go further afar. The kitchen was well-stock with some basics though we had not expected anything. The washer, dryer and dish washer were also a welcome surprise. Wi-Fi was always fast and free! We are already planning our next visit to Victoria and the Green Suite. BTW: it's on Green Ave. I almost forgot. The rental price was more than reasonable for what we got. We have only praise and no complaints.

Great place to stay...especially if it's HOT!

We arrived in Victoria on one of the hottest days this year...opened the door to this rental and realized we'd made a great choice. Cool and calm. Everything we needed for a great stay. Comfortable bed, fantastic kitchen, linens, towels, dishes, pots and pans, plus a washer and dryer en-suite. You can't ask for much more. Two comfortable chairs to relax in along with speedy wifi (no cable tv), so streaming Netflix or Youtube were not a problem. The only suggestion that we can think of to improve this rental would be a ceiling fan over the bed. Because the suite is in the basement it only had one opening window and that opened onto the stairwell, so we found we didn't open it very much. At night it would be nice to have some air movement provided by a fan. The suite did have a small fan available in the closet but these tend to be noisier than the ceiling type so we didn't use it. Overall a GREAT place to stay and we would definitely recommend this suite to anyone.

Quiet oasis close to downtown!

If you're looking for a very quiet and private sanctuary while visiting Victoria, your look is over! I am a very picky person when it comes to traveling and where I stay. This place was spotless clean, extremely comfortable, and very private. Nick was a very friendly and gracious host! We had a few good conversations and just so happened that he knew my brother that lived close by. This place was just what I needed. A small private getaway close to my brother's house and downtown Victoria. It did not disappoint! Don't hesitate at all to book a visit with Nick. You won't regret it!
