This is a studio unit with a kitchenette in the famous Prospector Square area of Park City Utah, site of the 2002 Olympics. It is close to all services and the ski hill and 50 yards from the trail system. It is one of the sites for the Sundance Film Festival in the Winter. Recently updated with new paint, furniture and a full size stainless fridge, you will find everything you need for an enjoyable stay in the Wasatch Mountain be it winter or summer. It is about 100 yards from the Silver Mountain Athletic Club with pools, sauna, hot tub exercise machines, classes, coffee bar and more. The new pool and hot tub area is completed. It sits on the busline so once here, you may well not need a car to get around. This unit is a new one for the owner who already has a unit in Prospector and a few in Phoenix and Montana. If this one is not available, we have a similar unit next door, shown with dark cabinets.

About Paul Neal Cooley
I am a 61 year old man whose son skied professionally in the SLC area and I invested in a Prospector unit with him two years ago with good results. This spring, I sold my home and bought two more in Park City, and hopefully they will have similar good results. I have an interest in four vacation rentals in Phoenix and two in Missoula Montana. You can see my reviews on those sites. I have been renting vacation homes and traveling myself for the last six years.

Why Paul Neal Cooley chose Park City
I bought it primarily because of its location to the best of Park City. Its in a great area of town, near the ski hills, site of Sundance Film Festival, on the public busline, has a new hot tub and pool and probably is the most affordable lodging in the nice area of Park City.
What makes this Condo unique
Close to everything. Its got enough extras to make your time as affordable as it gets in PC.

Comfortable studio, good location and great value for money
This is a one room studio condo with an ensuite shower/toilet and a small basic kitchen area. The bed has just had a new mattress and is really comfortable. There is a small high table and a couple of high chairs, but no sofa or easy chair, so if you are watching the large, flat-screen TV you'll either be sitting on a wooden chair or lying on the bed (much more comfortable). The photographs are an accurate reflection of the condo.
The development is a few years old (built in 1978 I believe) but the studio is warm, clean and in very good condition, with secure entry. The Prospector Square location is right beside the stop for the local free bus service, making for easy access to Park City old town and the local ski areas. There are a few bar/restaurants with easy walking distance, and good sidewalks to make this safe to do.
If you have a car, there is limited private parking (free permit required) - I was always able to get a space. I'm not sure if parking on the street is allowed. You can drive to Park City Main Street or ski base in 10 minutes and the local supermarket in 5 minutes.
As a solo traveller, price was important to me, and this studio was about the best value for money I could find in the area. Communication with the owner before, during and after the stay was excellent - I think he's really keen that guests have a comfortable and trouble-free stay. I'd definitely book this studio again.
Alan was an easy communicative guest to have. His review is what I think is an accurate portrayal of the unit and what I am trying to do... provide something simple and value oriented ( as an absent host ) in an excellent location in Park City which is an expensive place to be in the winter ski season for everyone. I give Alan a thumbs up as a guest and think the high points of the place are well described in the review.
Great location good value worked well for me.
Excellent communication and cooperation from the owner. Older very sparton tiny studio, but well maintained and clean.
LOCATED ON THE RAIL TRAIL IN THE OLDER ESTABLISHED PART OF PARK CITY. PROSPECTOR AVENUE. THERE ARE HOMES AND CONDOS AND SHOPS, BARS, STORES AND RESTARAUNTS CLOSEBY. THE BUSLINE STOPS RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR.
