About the property

Retreat to this peaceful cabin in Groveland for gorgeous scenery and a shared seasonal pool!

Located in the gated community of Pine Mountain Lake, this vacation rental is conveniently close to Groveland, but the immediate area is quiet and wooded. It's an easy trip of 25 miles to Yosemite National Park and 55 miles to Dodge Ridge Ski Resort.

Sink onto one of the couches in the great room to read a book or watch a DVD or cable show. Without Internet access, it's easy to unplug and enjoy your vacation (but if you need to check in, there's an Internet cafe in Groveland). Head to the kitchen to prepare a delicious dinner, then use the dishwasher for a quick cleanup. The patio is a lovely place to watch the sunset and listen to the wind in the trees.

This comfy house sleeps eight guests, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One room has a queen bed and twin bunk beds. The other, a master suite, has a king bed. If you need more space, there's a sofabed in the living room. With a washer and dryer available, this home is great for longer stays.

The nearby community has plenty of activities - with a golf course, tennis courts, shared pool, and equestrian center, you'll never lack for something to do!

Head to Yosemite to gaze down on the lovely views from Glacier Point, walk among towering sequoia trees, or go rock climbing on rocky crags.Or for a change of pace, head 29 miles north to Black Oak Casino for an evening of indoor gaming.

Don't wait - book your stay now and start getting excited for your time at this California cabin!

* Please keep in mind that cell phone reception in this area can be spotty, and that guests will need to buy parking passes at $27/vehicle. Thank you!

About Vacasa, CA - High Sierras Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Guestbook comments from the manager

A little far from the lake. No cell phone or internet connection makes things tough. some of the furniture outdated, but all functional. Kitchen and bathrooms very clean. AC works great. Grocery store nearby has everything with very reasonable prices. Ryan and Remax great to work with. Overall a very nice experience and hope to back.

Beautiful and cozy!

My friends and I had an amazing time staying here. It was so nice to unplug and spend some time among the trees. We saw plenty of deer as well which was a nice added bonus!

July 5th 2017 visit

Great place to stay, Wildlife viewing out your windows. Just be sure to check in at the Vacasa office in the town of Groveland before you go to the main gate in Pine Mountain Lake.

Bedds are comfortable however we brought our own pillows which I would recommend and since there is no internet connection some games as what they have available is not sufficient.

If you have Verizon, we were able to get cell phone coverage, just call your carrier and they will help you connect with sister stations at no cost.

All in all, a wonderful place to stay, peaceful and quiet, not far from Yosemite and Black Oak Casino and so much to do or nothing at all just hanging out at Dunn Court Beach area or the pool.

You can't park as a visitor at the marina on weekends and have to park outside on the street and walk in so if you're going there, go during the week.

We also had a wonderful lunch at the Grill at the golf club if you don't want to cook.
