Why Rick chose Hyde Park
This is the perfect spot for exploring Cincinnati - the city of seven hills. Hyde Park has a wonderful walking area full of shops, gardens, and restaurants. It's also close to Rookwood Commons, Eden Park, Downtown, Oakley and Mount Adams. Be sure to try the black raspberry choc chip ice cream at Graeter's. Concerts at Riverfront, ball games, historic Arnold's restaurant, the Freedom Center, amazing Union Terminal (includes a children's museum) are a short drive downtown. A one hour drive brings you to the antique shops of historic Lebanon, Ohio with the famous Golden Lamb Inn and Restaurant, King's Island, or the old rivertown of Augusta on the Ohio River in Kentucky (Leave your car on the Ohio side and go over on the ferry - a great small walking town). Try swimming and take a picnic to Coney Island or watch the horses at Belterra Park. For kids, check out the museums at the Cincinnati Union Terminal and the well known Cincinnati Zoo. Also Kings Island and vintage Coney Island with large pool. Kayak on the Little Miami River and visit the Indian Mounds and Amish bakeries north of Cincinnati. Taft museum is a must for history and decorating fans. Favorite local pub/restaurants Arnold's downtown and Zip's for burgers a short drive away.

Wonderful time! Beautiful place, great location and very nice and accommodating hosts. We highly recommend staying here.
Superb property, extremely well equipped in an excellent location for all areas of Cincinnati.
This really is a superb property. Spacious, well equipped and top brand toiletries and cleaning products. Ideal for two couples or a family, but even better for a couple!!! My wife & I were attending a family wedding in Cincinnati and with family spread all corners of the city this really was an excellent central location. Hyde Park is a safe and upmarket location with plenty of local shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the “Dutch” cottage and can recommend to anyone. Rich is a friendly and perfect host. We managed to meet up and got on well. With family in the area we will certainly be using it again. Far, far better than a hotel room!!!
Look no further...
Rick is a fantastic host and Hyde Park Dutch is perfect. We were welcomed with a note and a bottle of wine, and Rick sent a message to see if we arrived safely and were enjoying the house. The house is immaculately clean and has everything needed. It is a short walk to Hyde Park Square where we enjoyed shopping. Newport Aquarium, the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens, breweries and restaurants are a short drive/Uber ride away. It was a hot weekend and with the fans to assist the AC the house was cool and comfortable. Highly recommended!
This was a comfortable home in a very nice neighborhood. There was plenty of restaurants nearby. We had a great time.
Rick is an excellent host who focuses on details to make the stay perfect. The house is comfortable and cozy, and the location is great with lots of delicious restaurants nearby.
Beautiful historic home close to everything!
This house was perfect in every way-comfortable and tastefully decorated. There were 3 of us that came to see the sights and there was plenty of room for all of us. Rick was so kind and checked in on us to make sure that all was okay plus he left a sweet note and bottle of wine-nice touch!!! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful home!
A one block walk to Hyde Park Square, with its many one-of-a-kind shops, restaurants, Graeter's ice cream, coffee shops and special events. A short walk in the other direction is Busken Bakery, as well as Rookwood Commons, with many fine stores and restaurants in an open-air setting.
