Stay in the home or bring your camping gear. The home is a manufactured home with 3 beds, and 2 baths. Access to Bear Lake. You can drive right to the lake! The Plumbing has been repaired. There are a couple couches and chairs. I will have at least 4 beds. Two twins, and two queens. I would bring bottled water (the well water has lots of minerals). However, I just had a water softener/filter installed in APR 2017 and it is working. You are welcome to bring tents or bring an RV. The home will be clean but it is nothing special. Just think of it as camping indoors! I would also encourage you to bring your own cooking pans & eating utensils, . Please pack your trash out. PACK IT IN PACK IT OUT.
Stay in the home or there is an option for just camping. Call for details.

Don't count on the house
It's hard to find the good from all the negatives we experienced on our visit, we loved the open space for trailers and tents. We loved being so close to the north shore and being able to ride our atv's, but we rented the house for two of our families and were shocked at the conditions inside. The worst being neither shower worked and the water pressure was non existent. We had no way to shower off all the grandkids. Don't plan on the house being livable, but for trailers, tents and RV's it was great. Plumbers were called but couldn't fix the problem, Kyle was very empathetic but not much he could do at that point the problem was too far gone. Would love to stay again for the outside, but couldn't use the house it's too neglected.
Past guest have not complained about the water pressure so I was unaware of the problem. However, plumbers have been scheduled to overhaul the system! It seems that maybe this guest did not believe my property description, "it's like camping indoors" The real positive to this home is you don't have all the people and HOA rules to deal with. "it is nothing special "as the description states, but there are many positives too.
Fun little place to stay. Close to all things for staying there
The house is secluded which is nice. Has a nice large fire pit. House is roomy. Beds were nice. It is close to the lake. We would stay there again.
Great location, owner very open and honest about property
We enjoyed our stay here. The location to north beach could not be better. The house is a manufactured home and a bit run down, but the owner is very open about this when he called it "camping, but with walls". We went in to it expecting that, so we were not surprised and the price was okay for the area. If both showers were fixed and had new shower heads for better pressure (I think the mineral water is what clogs them up, and one was barely working).. we would look at staying here again next year.
Our stay was not what we thought we were getting based on the description on the VRBO.
The property was okay and the power connection was nice to have for the trailers. We didn't use the house and got billed for it. The location to the lake and the mountain trails were nice and close.
This guest was very respectful to my property and good to deal with. Concerning the charge for the use of the property; a quote for the nightly rental was sent, and the guest approved the amount before they booked the property. I am sorry that this guest felt the property was not as advertised based on the property description. I believe the property description is accurate.
Nice to have shelter but not worth the cost.
The property became a home after some much needed TLC. When we had arrived there were beds unmade, the bathroom was dirty and we were advised that there was a mix up in the schedule and the cleaning crew hadn't made it out prior to our stay. There was no air conditioning of any sort, and the water running through the property was unusable. It was discolored and smelt like metal. We were advised that there was a private entrance to the lake, but it was actually a 5 minute drive to the beach. There aren't any amenities available. It's camping with a shell. We still had fun, but I think it's important for future guests to know these things prior to booking.
We did have mix up with the cleaning crew and we tried to apologize for that. When the problem was realized the cleaners went right over. They even brought in a paddle board for the guest. There is lake access from the property. It is about 250 yards from the home. A/C has never been advertised, the water is filtered.
Beautiful view and great location!
Kyle was great to work with and very responsive and helpful. The yard is great for camping; clean and flat. Located close to the lake and mountain access. The home was basic; could use window coverings and screens. It was nice to have a home for some to stay in and an area for camping as well.
