About Lorraine Reynolds
Born and raised in Toronto. Left the big smoke in 2014 to find more balance in Prince Edward County. Fell in love with the community and found the most gorgeous haven on Lake Ontario that I couldn't resist. I have 2 adult children and a large family who enjoy the property year round. I currently work in Kingston as a Chief Operating Officer of a community mental health organization so I cannot be home as much as I like and wanted to share this beautiful property with others.
Lorraine Reynolds purchased this Bungalow in 2014
Why Lorraine Reynolds chose Consecon
I have been travelling to Prince Edward County over the last 10 years and always enjoyed the awesome restaurants, wineries and the great cycling. Friends bought here and invited me to their waterfront home. I was overwhelmed with the beauty and good energy in the County and had to own here myself. I am amazed at all the County events year round including Countylicious, the jazz festival, open mic nights at the Drake, the lavendar festival and the County Pop festival, entertainment at the Hayloft, just to name a few. There is never a dull moment, so much to do with so many awesome people.
What makes this Bungalow unique
I have seen a lot of waterfront properties but nothing that offers the privacy and beauty of my home. I am situated on a quiet road on Lake Ontario with neighbours who have been here for years. I recently completed a full renovation of the property that included taking the home down to the studs and replacing all electrical, plumbing, heating and used only the best of materials included natural stone tile, white oak floors and leathered granite countertops. I mixed modern décor with county charm. I am very proud of this gorgeous property.

Beautiful property, deck needs cleaning
The property was pristine and beautiful, and we were very happy with it, overall. However, for $350/night plus cleaning fee we expected the deck to be more usable/clean. the furniture was dirty and the tabletops looks like they hadn't been wiped down in months. We actually did a little deck cleaning ourselves, removing cobwebs and dust/dirt just so we could use it. Other than this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Peaceful Lakeview Home
Very comfortable for 2 couples. Modern renovations. Many amenities. Great Lake views. Close to many wineries. 15 minutes from Wellington and restaurants.
Perfect for a Girls Weekend
My girlfriends and I loved our weekend together on this property. The modern kitchen and furniture make it feel like a comfy home and the open concept is perfect for socializing.
The hot tub has a wonderful view of the lake and the fire pit is perfectly situated on the property.
Of course, the Wineries were easily accessible with the use of one of the local taxi services.
We will be back!
Would recommend to family and friends in a heart beat
Well priced and exactly as advertised. We came over the family day long weekend and could only imagine the fun and relaxation in the summer months. Thabk you Lorraine.
This was my second trip to this beautiful lake house. The home is charming and very well renovated with a big open concept kitchen/living area. It is perfectly secluded to offer peace and serenity but close to all the lovely vineyards. The view is breathtaking and the home encompasses that detail so that throughout the home you can enjoy this feature. The jacuzzi was clean and we were able to watch the sunset from the best seat in the house. The owner is easy to reach and always kind. We had a fabulous time!!
Cozy Lovely Lake View Cottage
Lorraine's cottage is very cozy and the lake view is amazing. My friends and I had a wonderful time. Would love to come back during spring or summer time so we can enjoy the outdoor amenities.
Short drive to several local beaches and provincial parks including Sandbanks, North Beach and Presqu'ile. Close to many vineyards including Norman Hardie with the outdoor stone pizza oven. Several local amazing restaurants including the famous Drake Devonshire, East and Main and the Hubb Eatery. Don't forget to check out our food trucks in particular TaberSnack and Picnic. Take a short drive to Lake of the Mountain for spectacular water views. Excellent golfing at Timber Ridge and Picton Golf and Country Club with gorgeous water views. Wellington, Picton and Bloomfield offer great shopping in quaint towns. Be sure to check out Kelley Derrett, Oak, Kokito and Prince Edward County T-shirt company to name a few. Several County art galleries including Oeno and Side Street feature Canadian and local artists. Great community theatre offered at the Mount Tabor Playhouse. Great road cycling and mountain biking offered with bike rental available. The millennium trail offers great cross country skiing, snow shoeing and snow mobiling. Kayak, canoe and paddle board right from property.
