post xmas getaway

We had a pleasant stay, unfortunately not warm enough for swimming, rode bikes and walked on the beach, took a few side trips and enjoyed hanging out. House very comfortable and well equipped, with lovely decorative touches.

Terrible AC / Odd Lay-Out / Not for Us

This is an unusual property that has been renovated several times. The main kitchen/bathrooms/bedroom section is dated but could be seen as old or retro as it has an old Florida/Key West vibe. The kitchen appeared brand new with all white cabinets and a large glass table that was not great for kids. There is 1 small TV in the Queen Bedroom but the main TV is in what appeared to be a converted garage. This room also houses the Washer and Dryer and a small AC window unit. The rules state it can't be turned down below 78 so the room is miserable to be in. We contacted the property management company and requested a fan and after 30 minutes on a call and speaking with 3 people they said "we've given all of ours out". We ended up buying one and leaving it there for the next guests. Speaking of A/C, the property owner stated it can't be turned down below 75. We complied but the A/C would not cool below 79 during the day - it is in serious need of an upgrade. Therefore, we were sweating the entire 10-day trip. Because the house has been renovated, several times, there are 6 points of entrance from the outside - which could be a problem with children. Also, given its age and updates the floor is warped in the main living area and there is a significant large step to get from the kitchen to the TV/Washing room. The pool area is incredibly nice but is only separated from the street and the neighbors by a low wall - not much privacy. Also, no private parking.

Perfect stay, perfect home- we’re coming back

We loved the house and pool however media room with huge tv was too hot but I’ll bring a fan next time. We’ve come to AMI since 2016 once a year and this was the first time I got a ticket for $50 for not having the car parked with the flow of traffic- please put something in your materials about that- we’ve stayed at other houses- no tickets. I haven’t paid it yet as it was the 2nd day there and we stayed a week (dead line was Sunday

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is a quick walk to a beautiful beach, awesome sunsets. The pool and outside sitting area was very nice! We bought a lot of fresh seafood to cookout on the grill! The house was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked. My only complaint would be that when we checked in there was no toilet paper, not one square!
