Nothing will quite compare to staying with your friends or family (up to four) at this fantastic Solitude vacation rental. Staying at Solitude Mountain Resort means being spoiled with some amazing amenities, such as a ski-in/ski-out location, heated pools, hot tubs, a sauna, fitness center at Club Solitude, and so much more! Everyone is bound to have a grand time.

Plush carpet, tall ceilings, granite countertops in the kitchen, and ample space to relax in between ski runs create a welcoming space to share with loved ones. Whip up delicious meals in the kitchen, which comes with major and small appliances, then take a seat at the dining table for four, or at one of four bar stools pulled up to the counter.

After dark, settle onto one of the sofas in the living room to watch a movie as the fire crackles nearby. Cable and WiFi are provided for your convenience. And once you've had your fill, retreat to the master bedroom for a good night's rest on the king-size bed. A full bathroom with a custom tile shower is off the one bedroom. And all four guests will have a bed to sleep on with the living room sofabed available.

About Vacasa, UT - Utah Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Guestbook comments from the manager

Great location, especially for kids. Condo was very spacious, comfortable bedding, well stocked. The booking company was great. Unfortunately, there was a big storm and power went out for 30 hrs. Canyon Vacation Rentals took very good care of us. We were the first to get flashlights, really good ones too! They also brought over a space heater when the fireplace went out. Internet and cell service in the room was not working, but we are told that is being address. The resort shuttled us to Brighton so that we could ski and refunded lift tickets.

Great spot!

Solitude is a very quiet, quaint area. Great for families that want to ski/snowboard, enjoy Apres and then head home for a home cooked meal!

Great stay at Solitude

  • 5 of 5

The unit we rented in Solitude was in a prime location - easy to walk to the club area, lifts, etc. The bed was very comfortable. The wifi was very strong. The kitchen was well furnished with glasses and dishes, etc. Great place!

Probably give it a 4.5

  • 5 of 5

Really nice place, and you can walk to the Apex ski lift--takes about 3 minutes with your ski boots on and carrying your skis.

A couple of oddities: 1) if you're a light sleeper and you're the one sleeping on the couch, that weird clicking sound you hear in the middle of the night is probably coming from the framed poster above your head. I took it down and slept much better. It's just a cheap poster frame and so it is a bit flimsy and makes weird noises. 2) Again, if you're sleeping on the couch, and you're a light sleeper, make sure the thermostat is set low enough so that the fireplace doesn't turn on automatically while you're sleeping.

There was a weird smell--probably from the dishwasher, but it was not a huge deal. The amenities, decor, and condition of the condo were great. You are right by the hot tub, and the Solitude/Brighton connection for skiing is awesome. When you're skiing back from Brighton, you will want to get a good head of steam so that you don't have to pole as much to get back to Solitude. If you're a snowboarder, you will be walking a bit, but no biggie. Having access to both resorts is pretty cool!

The Solitude Village is nice, in part because it is so small and there weren't a lot of crowds when we were there. The restaurant options are pricey (no surprise there), but nice.

So in short, I would definitely stay here again!
