About Steven Robinson
We are a family of five that loves spending time in Sea Girt, on the beach, riding bikes, playing tennis and basketball, or at the local playground. Kids ride bikes all day long . . . eventually they make it home for dinner. We love playing golf, several fantastic public and semi-public courses nearby.
Steven Robinson purchased this House in 2016
Why Steven Robinson chose Sea Girt
It sleeps 11+ people, and there is plenty of space to spread out in the living room, backyard patio, or the fully finished basement. Full laundry, air conditioning, and outdoor shower. 4 blocks from the beach. 2 blocks from the bars and restaurants in the village. Never flooded by Sandy or Irene, it was a pretty easy decision to buy this place. We love Sea Girt, the most family-friendly shore town in NJ.

Great house! Great location!
This was a wonderful house at which to give our grandchildren their first Jersey Shore experience. There was plenty of bedroom space for everyone to spread out. The basement ping pong table provided fun competition when we were at the house. The grandkids (and Grandpa) made good use of the bikes riding to the beach in Sea Girt(a nice quiet beach) as well as exploring the oceanfront areas of nearby Spring Lake and Belmar. Also there were good restaurants in the area. The sandwiches at Joe Leone's deli were outstanding. All in all a very good vacation experience.
Great get-away for a shore vacation
Clean, all amenities available. Close to shore, restaurants. Great to watch the kids play la crosse across the street and the croquette players. Highly recommend for a family vacation!
Many thanks for the nice review, and very glad you enjoyed it! The croquet club is always interesting to watch!
The house is lovely, beds are comfortable, owner available and responsive. We had two families together and it was plenty of room for all. Couldn't recommend any higher - thanks!
Many thanks for the feedback! Glad we were able to accommodate you and your extended family.
Very clean and neat, newly remodeled
Was a great location and home. A lot of space and the home looks like it was recently re-modeled.
We had a great time there. Only a few blocks from the beach and there are bikes available to make it a quick ride.
Certainly would stay again.
Everything we could have wanted in a vacation home!
My family and I spent two weeks at the Robinson's home in Sea Girt and had a fantastic vacation. Their home is very comfortable - clean and very livable. They had every every amenity you could ask for - air-conditioning throughout, a beautiful master bedroom and bath, two very large televisions, gas grill in the backyard, a wonderful outdoor shower, a fabulous finished basement and a very modern kitchen. I can't think of one thing that was missing! The Robinson's home really was one of the main reasons we had such a terrific vacation.
Many thanks for the nice review! It is our goal to make staying with us easy, and having all the same amenities you would have as if you were at home (if not more!).
This is our second summer renting, and we are always looking for suggestions to make things better. We use the house ourselves occasionally, and we are always trying to think of "what would we want here if we were renting?"
We did some major renovations last winter (new kitchen, new master bath, etc), and plan for more "touch ups" this winter as well (more trim/molding, etc).
Thanks again, and hope we can host you again next summer!
Everything you need for a week at the beach!
We had a great time at the Robinson's Seagirt beach house. The house was freshly painted, new linens, and CLEAN! There is a newly refinished full basement that adds a ton of living space and allows kids to spread out and play ping pong or watch TV. We could walk to the beach, or ride one of the 5 bicycles they provided for us (also brand new!) Seagirt is beautiful and riding around was my favorite activity. The house is located across from the National Guard facility and is a nice quiet neighborhood. We really liked Seagirt because it is a little more quiet and low-key than the surrounding towns - more of a family community. The beaches here are not as crowded and do not attract as many group of teens and group renters (no offense to the younger generation!) The only downside to the beach experience was the daily badge fee. 12 and up paid $10/day - no weekly badge or monthly. This can get expensive for a large family. The Robinson's also supplied us with their top of the line Tommy Bahama beach chairs (8 of them) to use at the beach. They really went out of their way to accomodate our every need. We happen to be there during a really bad heat wave - the air conditioner broke. Steve not only recruited help that day - he replaced the unit for the entire house. We would definitely stay at the Robinson's again.
I learned this year books of beach passes can be purchased in advance:
Coupon Book (includes 10 Daily Badges)* $90.00 $95.00 (w/credit card)
Sea Girt is a quaint village with beautiful beaches, bars and restaurants, all just a few minutes walk from the front door. The beach is 4 blocks away and we also provide 5 bicycles to help you get there! New Ice cream parlor is 1 1/2 blocks away. Tennis, basketball and playgrounds are also just a few blocks away, as is the Library. Our house is in a great location, convenient to both the beach and the shops in town.
