Large four bedroom home located about 25 miles from Yellowstone and Cody. It is located next to the Shoshone River and in a very private area. The views are breathtaking from every direction. A large new deck was just built in the back of the home to enjoy the fire pit and outdoor barbecue area. The home is very spacious and well decorated. There are three king size beds and one queen bed. One of the king beds is a sleep science foam mattress for those who require that type of mattress.

Great, quiet location; walk to great river fishing
We used it as a base for Yellowstone. Coming from the East side is longer than the Western entrance, but oh so beautiful. Also, we saw lots of animals on our way to the park, including 3 grizzly bears by the river, nearer to the entrance.
The house is very nice, with a working kitchen and a large dining table. The three bedrooms were perfect for our group and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house. We highly recommend this location and would certainly stay again.
There is a double oven and a side-by-side refrigerator and a great grill in the back. You can't go wrong here. Plenty of parking in the front, too. Very quiet day and night. Caught five rainbow trout on worms at the public access point. Go fishing on the Shoshone! We released, so go get some great fish - 16 inches or so. Saw old bear prints, a couple of elk, and a bald eagle flew over. Can't miss this spot!
Our group of 8 loved it
The house is exactly like the pictures. Very roomy for large groups. The little extras were nice, such as dish soap, garbage bags, shampoo, spices, laundry soap.
The owners are very friendly.
This made our trip of Yellowstone enjoyable & relaxing.
We would recommend to anyone.
Plenty of space and wonderful views
All 9 of us had plenty of space to enjoy time together without being cramped. The views of wildlife and landscape kept us mesmerized; the elk herd and eagle made lasting memories. The close proximity to Yellowstone was especially convenient. Thanks to Gina for saving the day after a minor mishap.
Our entire group would recommend spending time at this wonderful place.
Breathtaking views all day! Nice short ride from Cody and Yellowstone. Cool little restaurants nearby (lodges/ranches/Inns).
Great quiet location.
Was perfectly settled between Cody and Yellowstone. The house had plenty of space for the 6 of us. It was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook and the washer and dryer was a added bonus. The only thing that was a minor downer was the mothball smell in the seasonal porch area where one of the couples chose to stay because of the larger bed. We would definitely recommend this to anybody headed to Yellowstone and wants peace and quiet.
The house was nice and open. However the porch had smell and we had to open the windows. The smell was almost like they had just stained the deck.
The Grand View Guest house is one of the largest in the area. It has 3 king and 1 queen bed, easily accommodating 8 people. It is located 25 miles from Yellowstone and 25 miles from all the activities in Cody, including the Buffalo Bill Museum, Rodeo and Old Trail Town (and much more). Three restaurants are nearby and a small convenience store and gas station. It also has very close access to the Shoshone River and surrounding mountains. The View, it is grand in all directions and there is plenty of space in the outdoor barbecue/deck area for your family to spread out and enjoy. A fire pit and wood is also provided. Hope to see you soon.
