Why Carl Adams chose Lake Harmony
The Big Boulder Resort is the premier Ski and Lake Resort in the Pocono Mountains. Whether it is hitting the slopes to ski or board in the winter or a quiet afternoon on the beach in the summer, the resort has it all. With several great restaurants within five minutes of the door, life is easy and relaxing here. Need more adventure? White watre rafting, outlet shopping and the new casinos are a short drive away.
What makes this Townhome unique
Walk to the slopes, rent a boat to fish in the private lake. If it gets hot in the summer we have cenntral air. Nothing worse than needing in the summer and not having it. Most pocono homes do not. Why chance it. Stay with us!

Had a wonderful time, in a wonderful townhouse. Accommodations were very very good ...supplies were much better than other places we've stayed. The owner Carl, was very helpful and accommodating. Hope to return to the same townhouse, soon
Overall very good stay
My family enjoyed staying at this town home. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, pots, utensils, seasonings, ect. and grill was ready for us to use. We took a walk every night and enjoyed the nice and cool weather, and played in the pool and beach by the Boulder lake club house. The beach and the pool were clean and beautiful, and boat and Kayack rentals were reasonably priced too. Wifi was little slow so kids complained, but it kept them away from using the phone and computers all day so it was fine. Overall I had great time with my family past week.
Thank you so much for staying with us! Please come again. Also, thank you for leaving the house so clean.
Great Location, Great Home, Great Owners, Great Time!
My kids and I went to Carl's Get Away Home for the 2016 Christmas Holiday . The townhouse is literally walking distance to the mountain Big Boulder or a 2 minute drive (with snowboards and skiis we drove,ha) we stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The townhouse is 4 bedrooms, all a good size and each room has a TV . Tw of the bedrooms have large attached bathrooms, which is very nice. The layout of the home is great and the fireplace In the main living room made it so warm and cozy. This townhouse has a very inviting feel and the views out of the picture window are beautiful. The owner Carl was very helpful and accessible, he made sure everything was taken care before our arrival. The house itself was clean and had nice amenities such as 2 refrigerators, a Weber grill, nice deck off kitchen/dining room, air hockey table. To our surprise it also had a good amount of trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, and even condiments that you typically have to purchase when renting. The only thing that wasn't perfect were some marks and stains on the carpets and walls. It proves many families have had great vacations in his warm and lovely home. Thanks Carl!
P.s. Maybe a couple of family games could top off your retreat🤗We had a great time:) thanks again!
Pocono House in August
The house was very comfortable, an end unit , very private on three levels which worked out perfectly for a three generation family vacation. Well equipped with cooking utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, blender and toaster. Nice selection of spices and sauces to supplement our cooking. Pleasant deck with comfortable chairs and cushions and umbrellas to make it a comfortable outside space. Quiet location, close enough to the beach club to walk for the kids, nice pool and water trampoline. Our kids were 11 to 17 years and all seemed to enjoy the beach club. At the house a nice selection of DVDs and plenty of TVs. We had great weather for a week, enjoyed the trails and walking opportunities around and thoroughly enjoyed the cool weather compared to Allentown, Baltimore and Bridgewater.
The previous week we visited the rental and met with the owner who took us around the area showed us shops and amenities and was very helpful. One item: The houses had been renumbered this spring due to 911 requirements but since we had not been told of this, we looked in vain for 357 Laurelwood only to find that it is now #164. That would have been good to know. Also, the driving directions sent to us were out of date and somewhat misleading. Fortunately our GPS got us there anyway.
The stay was Awesome.
We stayed for 3 nights. We had planned the trip to ski, Mother Nature had alternative plans. The kids had a great time at the Indoor Water Park, horseback riding and relaxing indoors. Chris was great and offered to come another week-end instead to enjoy the snow. The view of the lake was beautiful. The kids had plenty of room.
My family was tired of the shore and had never been to the Pocono's. Great house, quiet location. The central air came in handy two days. The lake club was relaxing and our kids enjoyed kayaking and fishing. Very convenient with the walk up bar at the tavern by the lake. Easy drive to Jim Thorpe, shopped the outlets and played golf. Much less expensive than the shore and not anywhere near as crowded.
Guest passes included to the Lake Mountain Club at Big Boulder. This is the only way one can access the beach and lake. Be sure to ask any property owner if this is included with the rental.
