About Ilan and Veronika Morris
My wife and I bought our first Prague property in 2004 and have since built up a portfolio of eight holiday apartments with a value of approx 137m CZK/6,5 m USD, of which approx 1,7 m USD is owned and the rest leased. We specialize in short-term rentals which we manage together with a small team through our sro MJMorris Apartments and Developments. We develop properties from complete renovation and/or refurbishment into successful holiday lets and acquire apartments through lease or purchase in the most prime locations the city has to offer. We still consider ourselves a ‘boutique’ business with a philosophy of quality over quantity with the number apartments we take on. We take great care in both design and presentation of our rentals, as well as the services we offer. We have a small and dedicated team who all have approx 10 years experience in hospitality and we only take on renovations projects which capture the spirit and history of Prague while maintaining all the comforts of modern living. We also provide consultation in all aspects of Prague real estate investment but specialize in the holiday rental sector. We are especially excited about merging property development with tourism. Perfect location. Wonderful bed. Lovely place to stay.
We had a great stay. Pretty close to metro/tram station. Plenty of good bars and restaurants nearby. Easy to get to Prague Castle, Letna Park, Old Town and, of course, Charles Bridge. Prague is such a beautiful city, the Disney-esque appearance and all these gardens, like hidden gems. This apartment is the perfect location to enjoy it from.
Excellent hospitality in an ideal location
Ilan Morris is a wonderful host. He was very accommodating and took very good care of us during our stay. He booked our transportation to and from the airport. The apartment is the exact perfect location with breathtaking views including the famous Charles Bridge. We loved Prague and this place was the absolute perfect place to stay to take it all in. Wonderful.
Our family of three recently stayed in the first floor apartment. The location cannot be beat--slightly away from the busy tourist area but still close enough to walk everywhere. There is a lovely bakery down the street and a great pub steps away. The apartment itself has everything you could possibly need and the views are amazing. Ilan was very helpful upon check in and arranged a car service for our very early morning flight. We've traveled extensively and used VRBO in many cities across Europe. This was easily one of the nicest apartments we have ever stayed in. I would book here again in a heartbeat!

A stunning apartment in a perfect location.
The apartment is beautifully presented, well-equipped and in a perfect location. We enjoyed four nights here in warmth and comfort. Being so close to the Charles Bridge, it was easy to slip out for a twilight stroll to take photographs. The small bakery just 2 minutes down the street was ideal for collecting hot soup or bread for lunch on our way in.
We doubt that there could be a better located or more comfortable apartment to stay in for a break in beautiful Prague. We rate it as absolutely excellent with great owners/hosts who made everything easy and pleasurable.
Location, location, location
The Good: A nice apartment in a fabulous location, right at the foot of the Charles Bridge. Very comfortable. Lovely bathrooms--small, but nice shower, great tub. Bedrooms were nice size and beds were typical European firm. We like that. Living room had a couple of comfy sofas and a gas fireplace that was lovely for December.
The Not so Good: We were late arriving and the young lady who met us very nice, but not one of the owners. There were a number of things she didn't cover in her overview--What do we do when we check out? What do we do with trash? How do you operate the TV? etc. Somethings we thought to ask her before she left, others we had to contact the owner. We got a wad of keys that she had no idea which was which, so we spent a good bit of time trying to figure that one out. Her recommendations for dining (mostly beer halls) were better suited to someone her age (20's) than a group of seniors. So all in all the arrival procedure was less than wonderful. Hopefully, it was because of lour late arrival, and not the typical arrival.
The kitchen is sparsley stocked. Coffee and salt were the only things in the pantry. A small grocery is just a few steps away, so no problem, but it isn't typical of other rentals we had in Europe. Few kitchen utinsels--not even a spatula to turn eggs. But other than breakfast, we didn't do much cooking, so no big deal. Wifi modem is located on the floor in the living room, so no wifi outside of that area.
Other than those small annoyances, the place is vey good.

Sorry Misa’s check in did not cover all areas and that her recommendation was ill- judged. Since we cannot be present at all check-ins we have a team of friendly well- trained locals who have experience in the tourist industry; Vojtech and Martina in guest relations and front office management while Misa is a mother in her 30s who runs a popular e-bike tour and has a wealth of local knowledge to provide informative and thorough check ins. So far feedback has been very good, but she should have informed you how to work the TV and check out procedure/trash. We will make sure she does not miss anything again. We also have an excellent handyman Michal available at all times if any equipment malfunctions and I am in contact with all guests 24/7 to answer any questions.
We provide a wide range of mid to high-end restaurant recommendations including: Hergetova Cihelna, The Savoy, Bake and a number of choice breakfast spots. We also provide a beautifully presented book Prague Cuisine by local foodie Dominic James . I will make sure Misa does not make the mistake of making poor recommendations again.There are plenty of excellent eateries in the area and her suggestion of a beer hall is not one we would usually make to our clients.
We will replace the broken spatula and check kitchen equipment. We will also make sure the pantry is properly stocked as we do provide: tea, coffee, dish washing tablets, hand soap, fresh towels (two per person) (+ hand towels), excess toilet paper, sugar, salt and pepper. All our apartments are quality checked before arrival and so all items should have been there. We will also mark the keys more clearly as I realise while they are color coded, they could also be marked.
We hope if you return you will book with us again as we will be happy to offer you a 10% discount on any of our eight Prague properties. You may be interested in two of our newest listings added 2017, one bought (8460118) and one leased (8339514). Both are in the very heart of Old Town, but quiet. Beautifully reconstructed two bedroom apartment in Mala Strana, the oldest quarter of Prague. Walk to everything. The area abounds in the finest restaurants, and shopping. Just around the corner from a transportation hub, you are within minutes of everything in Prague on the inexpensive, fast and clean public transportation system.

If you book on line there is no balance to be paid upon arrival. Cleaning fees are included and we dont requiere security deposit. Balance for on line bookings is due 14 days before arrival. If we agree collect balance upon arrival you can pay in cash (Euros or CZK). There is no extra charge for cash payment, but a 4% surcharge for PayPal payments. In this case the balance will be converted into CZK based on the exchange rate provided by XE and the sum will be agreed by both parties before payment. Payment of the balance on line before arrival is also possible and subject to the same conditions. Cash payment in currencies other than EURO can also be considered. Stays of less than three nights are subject to the discretion of the owner
