Come and enjoy Tortola while the beaches are quiet....$100 discount per night all winter!!
Azure Vista is the home you wish you had on Tortola.....the views, the comfort and the pretty tropical vibe combined with the proximity to all the amenities and pleasures of the West End.
The Main House is attractive and inviting from the driveway, it's pretty painted shutters complimenting the bright walls. To the right of the hallway a door leads to a relaxing and elegant king bedroom suite, which offers light and airy decor, an ensuite bathroom with shower, built-in closets and idyllic views to wake up to at the foot of your king size bed.
Heading directly through the hallway you enter the heart of the villa, a lovely open plan living room/dining room/kitchen where everyone can hang out together comfortably. The decor has a tropical feel without being overpowering, the teak dining table and chairs seat 6 comfortably, as does a 2nd dining area on the fully screened porch that flows from the living room. The living room has a 50" flatscreen TV with Dish Network and DVD player for that down time when you might want to just watch a movie or some sports. The kitchen is well equipped and organised with stainless steel appliances....a large gas range, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and the usual assortment of blenders, toasters etc.
The pool deck is central to the property and the Master Suite and 2nd Bedroom are in a 2nd pavilion above the pool.
The Master Suite is accessed by a short flight of stairs from the pool deck. It has its own porch with a couple of chairs, perfect for a morning cup of coffee....there is a king bed, built-in hardwood closets, 32" flatscreen and ensuite bathroom with Mexican tile and a refreshing outdoor stonewall shower....everyones favourite when in the Tropics!
The 2nd bedroom is adjacent to the Master Suite making it safe and convenient for young children to stay close to you. Alternatively, the door can be locked and this 2nd bedroom has its own separate entrance and a private sun deck area with a couple of loungers and a small table and chairs. The 2nd bedroom has pretty queen bed, ensuite bathroom with shower, built-in closets and a convenience fridge, microwave and toaster oven.
Throughout the villa, you have the option of fully screened doors and powerful fans to keep cool, or turn on the AC in the warmer months.
You're definitely going to want to sit and enjoy the views at Azure Vista, fortunately you can do it from every room in the house, or from the pool deck.....the fabulous pool is 26' long by 11' wide and 4.5 - 8ft deep, perfectly designed with a step that runs the length of the pool to sit and cool down with a book or a drink. Inviting sun-loungers offer relaxed comfort on the beautiful stone and brick deck that blends in with the natural habitat of the rocky hillside with the lush vegetation.
The villa is easily accessible by paved road above Long Bay Beach, but private and tucked into the hillside at the end of its convenient driveway with plenty of space for turning etc.
The house is equipped with wifi, an automatic-start generator, washer and dryer, a cell phone for your use (with $5 credit), pool noodles, beach chairs, a cooler and beach umbrella. There are tennis courts available at the bottom of the hill ($25/hr) + racquet rental.
West End Ferry Terminal is just 10 minutes away, perfect if you are arriving by ferry or water-taxi from St Thomas. Opposite the ferry dock we have the beautiful Soper's Hole Marina (also just 10 minutes away), which offers waterside restaurants, a well-stocked grocery store and the best gift shopping on the island. This is the best spot for catamaran day-sails which we are happy to arrange.
Long Bay is a mile-long white sand beach (3 or 4 minute drive). To the East is Apple Bay, (5 or 6 minute drive) for the avid surfers and to the West is Smugglers Cove (7 or 8 minute drive) for some of the best snorkelling on the island and a relaxed vibe in this protected and calm cove! There are many good restaurants within 15 minutes drive, choose from fine-dining at The Sugar Mill, low-key authentic West-Indian dishes at Tropical Fusion and Da Coal Pot, best sunset views on the island at Bananakeet....and everything in between!

Comfortable Villa with Beautiful Views
We enjoyed our stay at Azure Vista and had a fantastic time exploring the BVI. The villa was exactly as pictured and was a comfortable home for our family for the week. The villa is high up on the hillside and has beautiful views of Long Bay especially from pool side. It is well situated for West End restaurants and beaches, and is only 25 mins from Road Town. We had some issues with mechanical failures, but the 24/7 management (Sharlene and Roseline) was very fast to respond with all being made right quickly.
(updated Apr'18) The West is the best! West End is awesome, even post-Irma, with our fabulous beaches - Long Bay (for long walks and snorkeling around Pelican Point), Apple Bay (for surfing in season), and Smugglers Cove (for calm protected waters and snorkeling as well as Nigel's beach bar) all within 5 minutes of each other. The foliage is lush, the roads are "a fun adventure" and while Irma's trail is still very much evident, you can appreciate the devastation that the island experienced and at the same time enjoy the vibrancy and beauty of the natural landscape and the resilience and optimism of people of the BVI who are rebuilding their businesses - restaurants, bars, car rental, spas, day charters etc.
